Whatever I’m expecting, it’s definitely not Yume and Shirahama being stuck in a campsite far off from the world and entangled in a murder. More of a remote-island murder type of plot, adding up the spice with urban legends and ghost. I really love this one though, despite all the creepiness~
The second story is pretty short compared to the others but I like this one the most from this volume. The video editing and removal parts are pretty horrific. Glad it’s ramadhan so I can relax haha
Then the third story is about that weird newly-found fruit. It feels like it’s an ultimate way of also showing how viral food stuff doesn’t always do you any good (?). At least that’s the takeaway lesson I took from the story. Haha
The last story is where both of them being an assistant for a detective in solving a missing person’s case. I do think that this story revolves a lot about weird religion and cult.
There is a blooper by the end that shows Chacha met with Daidai due to Yagi’s advice. It’s fun to have a short laugh after all the weird experience of Yume and Shirahama.
Another volume in the series and BOY, it was so good! Ok, as I said in the previous book at times a bit weird, but I will take it. In this one we got various jobs again. Like a murder mystery when they are campsite staff. Or strange fruits that are really messed up in the farmhand arc. But also more detective assistant jobs that was really fucked up but also so good. And there is more! We also see certain plot points regarding our duo move on and I just adored that. It isn't just the jobs, but we also see other things.
