30 Days Through Psalms and Proverbs

Rate this book
"Reading the Psalms and Proverbs is no academic exercise. It is a life-changing experience. Rules are hard to keep, and practical advice is hard to follow. Therefore God has called us into a relationship with Himself."--LaGard Smith In a chapter for each day of the month, noted scholar and author LaGard Smith provides succinct and dynamic insight into a vital aspect of everyday life, followed by generous portions from the Psalms and Proverbs. With this helpful combination of contemporary teaching and Bible reading, believers will grow in scriptural instruction and deepen their intimacy with God.

I liked it, but it wasn't a book I got enthused over for some reason. Perhaps because there was little connectivity between the days, and between the proverbs and psalms, but it was not a great study for me.

Inspirational!

LaGard draws us closer to the heart of God through Psalms and Proverbs! A very good devotional each morning. I recommend this highly.
