A primer on Lutheran theology & history and Luther's beliefs. Interesting collection of articles. I found the last several chapters quite insightful. As for earlier portions of the book, I wonder if perhaps, as a denomination we venerate Luther and his friends in ways Luther would not approve of. Faith is *always* in a process of evolution and it is counter to that idea if we accept without thought or modern critique from our experiences what was said by long dead white men in the 16th century.
