This is an excellent analysis of the chronology, lives and exploits of the Kings of early English history dating from William The Conqueror in 1066 to the death of King Richard II in 1400. It discusses in some detail the three predominate families of English Kings, namely, the Normans, the Angevins and the Plantagenets.
A basic book on the history of the English medieval kings, at times I had to work the dates of events out myself which was a mild hindrance. The book doesn't go into much detail about the people surrounding the kings other than their title. The illustrations are beautiful however I felt that there should of been maps to show the increase and decrease of land during each reign.
