This is a fun book full of information that you may never need to know but is gun to know. I learned some things in here like hookworms might be the cure for hayfever and the amount of rain needed to fall for a place to be considered a rain forest. Some info it seemed was basic, but others were very interesting.

The book was better bound than I thought it would be (padded hardcover). There are a range of topics with interesting facts.

Big trivia book published in 2011. Some info outdated. Tone snarky throughout. Waste of time.

I can't really say that I've "read the whole thing" but I have skipped about reading the parts that interest me personally. Possibly the best part that I've read so far is about Calico Jack and his fellow pirates. They are arguably some of the most interesting characters in history.

I'm a trivia buff so I enjoyed all the facts and information the book gave.
Did you know that fish slept or that a queen bee lays 180,000 eggs? Some great stories are in there too!
