After teaching English for 30 years, I decided to follow my own advice and "write what I know best." I know Western New York. "I love New York", is not a trite slogan for me. From its mountains, to the Atlantic, to its fertile valleys, exciting urban areas, lakes and streams, I admire its diversity in geography and people. That's why I write about people in New York State.
