Wow! Very Intense! HOT!
Great Insight of introduction into the BDSM World! For a short story, you definitely get the full visual insight of torture and pleasure effect that will have you sitting on the edge of your seat.
Personally I would never fit into the BDSM world because it is all about submission and as a independent woman who loves being in control most of the time and who never shuts up when someone tells me to be quiet (I'm a rebellious little shit), I would never be able to give myself over to someone elses total control.
It totally blows my mind that people out there get into this stuff seriously. Very Interesting and Intense read.

Forever Bound is an erotic novella which features a young woman by the name of Josie Harper who has found her sex life to be a little on the dull side so she spends her savings on a “Fantasy Island” situation of sorts. She is a submissive who has asked to be paired with a Dom so that she can experience some of the BDSM lifestyle. On the other side of the coin is a Dom who is tired of the same ol’ same ol’ and has been paired with this newbie because of her “girl next door” looks and ironically, her lack of experience coupled with her desire to please.
The two of them experience something for the first time: each other. There is some very hot and sexy use of ropes and vibrators. The Dom finds his surprise that someone can be as real as Josie is and Josie finds to her delight that she can be fulfilled in the bedroom at last. Do the two of them turn a few hours into something more? What happened with the two of them with the ropes and the vibrators? You’ll have to get this wonderful little bit of reading to find out.
What I liked: A lot. I am no prude but I am not really experienced in the world of BDSM either. If I ever wanted to be, my fantasies would be just like what this story describes and in truth, a few scenes really had me fanning myself. I appreciate that Ms. Kennedy wrote this novella as something naughty while being tasteful at the same time so as not to scare off some of the not so sure people like myself. I also really liked hearing from BOTH of the characters and their innermost thoughts during the process. I found that to be interesting.
I have to add that the subject of BDSM is not something I would normally discuss with my friends, but the story reached me at some level because I found myself telling my manicurist about this novella the very next morning after I had read it. This sparked a conversation between the two of us about how to delve into our sexual fantasies with our mates without embarrassment. At the end of that day, I was still thinking about it so much that I’m going to have my husband read it just to spark a conversation. I am very happy with my husband and our marriage but I think that using this story can keep the spark alive and after 30 something years of marriage, spark can be important. My point to all this is that this story touched me in a spot that kept me thinking about it for hours afterward and sharing it with not only a girlfriend but my husband as well.
What I disliked: I’m on the fence about this, so it’s a very small dislike, but I don’t know if I think that the two main characters needed to have anything else after their time together. It didn’t have to continue past the room. Or perhaps there could be more of a story at a later time. But being as the subtitle to this novella is “A 1 Night Stand Story,” I think maybe it should have been over at the end of the session. On other hand (and here’s the fence), if I were in Josie’s position, I would have liked for my Dom to be as enraptured with me as Josie’s Dom was with her. So it was a fun part to the story. I was so giddy when Stacey announced she was trying her hand at writing a BDSM story. I've recently fallen in love with this theme in my romance and I couldn't wait to see what she'd do. For me, Stacey's books have always packed a powerful punch and given this is a short story, I was hoping that I would still get a taste, as well as the heat that comes the Dom/sub dynamics. Let me tell you - Stacey definitely knows how to deliver and my only disappointment was it just wasn't long enough. But... she could write an epic 1000 page novel and I'd still say it wasn't long enough. Forever Bound was a fun short story that had great chemistry between the two characters and left me sighing at the end! I had no problem picturing what was happening and it definitely got my blood pumping. Good gosh this was HOT!

That all changes with one glance at Josie and after a night of fun, he's convinced - she's the one. The problem is a scene can form a bond between the Dom/sub so what will these two do if that happens? This is definitely a book to read if you're new to the BDSM theme and it's definitely hot enough to get you in the mood for some lovin' of your own.
I really loved the characters in this story. I always think it must be hard for the author because when you're limited to the size of the story, you can only show so much and still need to connect the reader with your characters. What do you share? I loved seeing the uncertainty of Josie at first but also her determination to explore - something was missing sexually and she had courage enough to go out there and look for it. I love that she gave herself over to Gavin, that she trusted him enough to learn from the BDSM scene, truly showing her submissive nature. I loved Gavin in this story, the way he was amazed by Josie and the complete swagger he had. Stacey really got it right with him because he had the complete Dom attitude and I swooned so hard at the end when he asked if he could "keep" her. I'd love to see more of these characters, to know what happened afterwards - there was definitely a connection between them and it would be interesting reading how Gavin continued to introduce her to the lifestyle and the deepening of their relationship.
I give two thumbs up for Stacey and wonder... what's next? This is a great quick read and one you won't want to miss. Happy reading!

I think this is the third or forth story I have read from this author. Was rather surprised she could write this way. Not to say her other stories are light fluff or aren't as good. Just sometimes she hads in a touch of the unbelievable a bit in her paranormal tales that leave me questioning and not in a good way but not in a altogether bad way either.
What I liked: The fact Kennedy made this short story read in no uncertain terms that good girls can like the BDSM lifestyle. Which I'm sure to most people that read these particular stories they are used to the "innocent" trying it out but then liking a bit of kink. Which is personally how I think I would go about it. A little "spice" to enhance what I would already have going on. But Ms. Kennedy took the "innocent" and made her grow up a bit and not just go for the typical leather and handcuffs. But placed her in a zone where she could truly flourish with ropes and a intense pleasure pain with sex toys she thought she once knew. Which was pretty great reading about led me to consider use of ropes myself and I NEVER thought that would be of interest to me EVER. So props to Kennedy for surprising me.
What I didn't like: The rather wrong side of pain with that high speed vibrator, Gavin seeming to get quite the thrill more from Josie's pain although he called it submission(which I get what he ordered was still light compared to most books, but it kind of crossed the line of crazed Dom for me), and lastly the Dom falling for the newbie aspect. I've read it before in other stories and thought nothing of it. But I've also read whole stories where it was a larger journey than just one scene like this. So it was a bit odd reading how they fell for each other so fast at the end.
Overall I'd totally recommend it and say keep em coming Kennedy. :)

Forever Bound es una novela corta, de modo que no hay mucho que decir. Básicamente es el relato del encuentro de esa noche. Josie y Gavin contrataron a una casamentera y después un tiempo de espera, les dieron los detalles del encuentro.
Josie no tiene muchas esperanzas, está nerviosa, sobre todo porque es nueva y no sabe a ciencia cierta qué resultará de toda la experiencia en el mundo del bondage. Por su parte Gavin está escéptico. Ha conocido a muchas mujeres, muchas que llevan años en el BDSM y nunca ha podido dar con una que le satisfaga. No cree que pueda encontrar mucho en Josie. Hasta que la ve y empieza a jugar con ella.
Entre más empuja sus límites, más se somete Josie. Ella responde a él, a sus órdenes y deseos como ninguna mujer, por más experimentada, lo ha hecho. Y pronto Gvain sabe que Josie es la mujer a la que ha estado esperando. Ambos sienten esa conexión que los incita a estar juntos.
Creo que Forever Bound cumple con las expectativas en cuanto a novelas cortas se trata. No obstante, le hizo falta un poquito de más emoción. De ponto me sentía un tanto desconectada de la pareja. Creo que el tremendo inconveniente es precisamente la longitud de la misma. Con todo, Stacey Kennedy hace un trabajo estupendo y vale la pena leerle.

I love this series. It is one of my favorite guilty pleasures and I was excited to see one by Stacey Kennedy. I have no idea whether or not the BDSM elements of this story were accurate or not because I do not really know much about it. Frankly, I do not think it matters. This story was, at the core, the story of two people finding the person they had been looking for all along. I loved how we saw both of their points of view and I simply loved the last scene. It is great to see such a heartwarming exchange at the end of such an intense story. I had in my head that Stacey only wrote paranormal book and was totally missing out on her contemporary fiction. *bops self in the head*

There are some things I just don't respond to well in BDSM books, or in erotica in general, and damn it, this particular story not only focuses on just those very things but the entire story revolves around them, giving me absolutely nothing else to aid in the balance. So, it's for very personal reasons of taste that I give this one a 0 out of 5 stars- 1 star for the sake of Goodreads, but other than that I couldn't find a single thing that I could say deserved even that. =(

This story had me fanning myself from the get. As always with Stacey's stories, even if they're short you get a feeling and presence of the characters. I really liked Josie and Gavin. They were both great characters. They both knew what they wanted and I think they got more than they bargained for. Definitely a hot read, super sexy. Big fan of the 1NightStand novellas. Another awesomesauce read from Stacey.

Unlike some other 1 Night Stand novellas, Josie and Gavin's reasons for seeking out Madame Eve's services were plausible. Unfortunately, their "scene", which was at the center of it all, fell flat for me. As hard as I tried I just couldn't visualize Josie bound - Gavin tying her up read more like a dummies guide to tying slip knots BDSM style than a sexy bondage scene. As for the big finale, picture a game of erotic Simon Says gone wrong - mmm hmm exactly!?!? Although Gavin's aftercare of Josie was full of sweet and tender moments, it simply wasn't enough to carry the story.

This short from the 1Night Stand matchmaker series explored a newbie in the BDSM community. Josie is taking a huge risk, just diving in with someone that the matchmaker has selected for her. When she shows up to find Gavin, they both end up with more than they bargained for. This was obviously a kinky, dirty read.
Gavin is experienced in the scene, but he has yet to find someone he actually wants to stay with. Josie far exceeds his high standards for a sub and it all shows in what is actually just one scene. I kind of wanted just a little more from this one.

Holy sexapade!!lol.I am usually a paranormal romance reader and more lengthy books, but wow this short story was extremely hot!! Had it been in a chapter of just some PR book I would have been floored.lol. Even though the story pretty much is a lot of sex it was really good the characters came with a really solid back story and I was easily captivated with them. I was really shocked how much I liked it. But it is a Stacey book and I am finding anything she writes seems to be AWESOME!!

I enjoyed reading Forever Bound. As a short story, it does not have too many characters or too much backstory to weigh it down. The pacing was great. Stacey Kennedy included a really hot BDSM scene and a totally satisfying ending.

Stacey Kennedy knows how to bring it. And boy did she bring it..yet again! Forever Bound is a deeply emotional short story that is sinfully hot to boot. I'm surprised at how much the characters in this story affected me, and my desire to read their HEA for such few pages. Kudos to Ms. Kennedy! Favorite line : I want to keep you.

Nice quick bedtime story, it's apity it wasn't longer, the setting and premise were promising, and I could very well picture the characters exploring each other in a little more depth. Pity it was only a novella, nice writing, steamy, but could have been a bit hotter. Will definitely check Stacey Kennedy's other works because her writing is great!

Fantastic read and a great look into the aspects of D/s relationships. Totally loved both Josie and Gavin and they're touching and erotic relationship that didn't focus soley on sex but on developing trust in such a short time.

This is not my usual pick for reading but I've been meaning to read something by Stacey Kennedy. This was a good intro the BDSM fiction. Although not exactly my "cup of tea", I like Stacey's writing and storytelling and this book definitely provided intense and pleasant moments :)
