About the author

ARUN GOGNA is a much sought-after national and international lay preacher. He started to preach when he was sixteen years old and though he has a Bachelors Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from De La Salle University, he has chosen preaching to be his life mission. He is a former Theology professor at the De La Salle College of St. Benilde where he taught for ten years.

He acquired his Masters in Theology Degree from Don Bosco Center of Studies, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He is the founder of Creative House Inc., an organization specializing in retreats, recollections and values formation seminars for companies, schools, universities and organizations.

He has been invited as a resource speaker for the Association of Filipino Franchisers, Inc., Jollibee Foods Corp., Insurance Companies such as Philamlife, Sun Life, Manulife, Bank Corporations such as Citibank, Metrobank and Land Bank, and LWUA, Gakken Philippines, Center for Culinary Arts, National Electronics Communication, Philippine Air Force, to name a few.

Also, he has been spiritual adviser to various organizations and communities like RFM, Bangko Sentral, Couples for Christ, Pag-Ibig sa Diyos Catholic Community, Buklod ng Pag-Ibig, Bukas-Loob sa Diyos Community, Mary Help of Christians Prayer Community, etc…

Schools and universities such as De La Salle System, St. Scholastica’s College, Immaculate Conception Academy, Colegio San Agustin, Immaculate Conception Cathedral School, Stella Maris, Miriam College, Laguna Catholic Schools Association, Philippine Science High School have also invited him as lecturer on various topics on family life, business, the arts, and values formation.

He is also a recording artist with two Christian albums recently turned platinum namely “Ikaw Lamang” and “Big in God’s Eyes”. He is the author of the best-selling book entitled “Happy Secrets to an Obedient Life”. He is regular columnist of the number one Catholic inspirational magazine in the Philippines, “Kerygma”, and its sister publication “Fish”. He has also been serving for more than half his life in his various capacities as concert director, spiritual adviser, entrepreneur and writer. He is currently an in-house author of the Abiva Publishing Corp., writing Religion textbooks for the High School level. He is married to an orthodontist, Dr. Lallaine Lucas-Gogna and a father to Andrea Helene and Yohan Gogna. They live in Manila, Philippines
