A few disclaimers: 1) I fall asleep every time I try to read a book on statistics. 2) I have (self-diagnosed) ADHD...well, maybe I'm just impatient. 3) The 1st author, Tom Lang, sent me a complimentary copy of his book.
Given the above disclaimers, I set out to tackle this 300+ page book with a little bit of foreboding. Needless to say, I never made it through the book. What I realized (justified?) was that it is an excellent reference, to be consulted when in the process of creation, and not read through like a novel.
I gave it 4/5 stars because it is clearly and cleverly written, in layperson's terms, with lots of examples. The only reason I didn't assign 5/5 was because I just can't give ANY book on statistics a 5/5.
Imprescindible libro de referencia para la escritura de reportes científicos. Son dos libros en uno: la primera parte se reifere al reporte de estadísticas y la segunda parte al reporte de diseños específicos.
