Despite its very dated and cheesy visual design, this is one of the best beginner's books for learning origami, both for adults and children. The books is written in a way to improve origami skills, so each project gradually steps up in complexity and later projects use techniques that were taught in the earlier ones. If you are folding with children, Easy Origami has the added bonus of several projects that are meant to be toys once finished.
