Intressant, underhållande, och lättläst (3-4 timmar) insinuerande, där slutsatser ofta konstateras av författaren kring skeenden, folks tankar, känslor och intentioner. Är ett välskrivet reportage som utgår från fakta men som för dramaturgins skull för det bortom vad vi någonsin lär få reda på om dr. våldtäkt. Rekommenderas om en är det minsta intresserad av sakfrågan - hur/varför en framgånsrik "läkare" i Malmö kunde våldta kvinnor eventuellt under flera års tid med tjugotal personer som klappade takten...

Poor that this book is just a little piece of a big problem which is sexual assault and raping. The title says to us the story will be about Carl, a plastic surgeon form Sweden and his life, career and actions. But actually this tiny book is about men, their possisions as stronger creatures and their victims who are rarely taking seriously. And the example is Carl himself.
It could be a longer book with other cases, then it would be more engaging, although scenes with harassments were definitly heinous and disgusting.

Känns som att detta är en gymnasieuppgift som någon valt att publicera som bok. Alternativt en halvhjärtad insändarartikel. Det är oklart vad författaren hade för syfte med boken. De sporadiska styckena med författarens egna reflektioner kring samhället och hur hon själv uppfattar Carl är grunda och inte särskilt givande. Tyvärr! Jag tror att författaren hade kunnat släppa en mycket bättre bok om hon hade haft tillgång till en bättre förläggare/editor.

Der var potentialet til en god bog. Det startede også godt, men fokus gled fra fakta til spekulationer og forfatteren glider hen til et generelt mandehad fremfor det bogen i virkeligheden burde handle om.

I am impressed by this book. Firstly, the story knocked me off my feet. What kind of person does a plastic surgeon have to be to sexually exploit a woman under anesthesia and in a state of unconsciousness? The first story that marked the beginning of his monstrous path started with a young friend of his son. What must happen for a person who has been a good professional their entire life to suddenly transform into a monster?
The book is intriguing because of its subject matter. Despite having a few shortcomings in my opinion, I still recommend it. I believe it must be read. Since reading it, I find myself analyzing the behavior of others much longer before trusting doctors again. Even at the dentist's, I keep my eyes open more often than in the past.

Sporo o kulturze gwałtu, patriarchacie, wykorzystywaniu wyższej pozycji społecznej dla własnych korzyści. Straszne. Bardzo dziwi mnie tak mała liczba czytelników.
