A small collection of short stories from Harukichi featuring DJ Cat, a stoner cat who travels the world to DJ gigs. The stories are nonsensical but charming, mostly due to Harukichi's vibrant artwork that utilizes a fine line and warm colored markers. Each story is pretty much centered around how cute and adept a DJ the titular character is, and everyone around him remarking just how great and cute he is. No conflict, no drama, just a cute cat comic.

Stoner record collector loves his cat and writes silly short stories about him travelling the world and DJing for everyone’s delight.

Bravo 🙌

M’he rist molt i tot fa més gràcia a l’estar en português 🙏.

This is the best book about and with cats I have ever read! Besides falling in love with these stories, being able to see my cats reflected in them which it makes it funnier, the artwork is wonderful! This is one of those books to read in one sitting and bring a happy smile to your face as you read.

The adventures of a weed smoking cat traveling the world in a van, making friends, and DJing gigs. Cute and weird and silly and charming and fun.

Some cosmic forces are simply irresistible, and this book is proof of that.

Gosshie is a feline DJ hero. He is high most of the time and always on the move, vinyl tucked safely under his paws. He travels everywhere: Japan, the Netherlands, Iran, Switzerland, Singapore, Lisbon, Peru, digging for rare records at suspiciously good prices, smoking weed, playing loud sounds, and eating excellent cheese. You know, the usual things. His adventures are absurd, relaxed, and consistently hilarious, mixing crate, digging culture with stoner philosophy and the kind of travel fantasies we all secretly have.

This was one of my biggest discoveries of last year, found by a friend in a tiny Parisian comic bookstore just before the year ended. It deserves far more than sitting on a table as an object. It begs to be read, laughed at, and revisited.

Pretty adorbs. I read Harukichi's mini from kuš, "Hero", which featured DJ Cat Gosshie in Latvia (where kuš are from), and knew I needed this when it came out.
Gosshie is a cat who DJs, and travels around in his van. He likes smoking marijuana, loves cheese and fish, and has pretty gregarious musical taste. And he's a cat. What's not to like?

Gato que brincas na rua
Como se fosse na cama,
Invejo a sorte que é tua
Porque nem sorte se chama.
Bom servo das leis fatais
Que regem pedras e gentes,
Que tens instintos gerais
E sentes só o que sentes.
És feliz porque és assim,
Todo o nada que és é teu.
Eu vejo-me e estou sem mim,
Conheço-me e não sou eu

Wonderful drawing and aesthetics, I wish I has his car that can swim

Charming creation. Besides the awesome illustration chops and the lovable character, I also really enjoyed the references to music from all around the world 😁
