In Shadow Dwellers - Atonement by J.C. Wilder, Maeve, devastated by her sister’s death, will do anything for revenge against the vampire who murdered her sister and cost her the love of her family. Caught in a web of hate, Maeve spent years searching for a way to avenge her sister’s murder and Quinn is the key to that success. There’s just one catch, Quinn believes magic to be more than spells and incantations. He sees magic as a gift, something precious and sacred and not to be used as an instrument for revenge. Will Maeve come to her senses and realize that her quest for revenge isn’t worth losing Quinn before it’s too late? To ensure chaos doesn’t occur, Quinn must also complete a very difficult task.
J.C. Wilder left the world of big business to carry on conversations with the people who live in her mind, fictional characters that is. In her past she has worked as a software tester, traveled with an alternative rock band and currently volunteers for her local police department as a photographer. She lives in Central Ohio with 6,000 books and an impressive collection of dust bunnies.
This book as u can tell from title is all about redemption regret grief longing revenge it's the more upsetting of the books in series with the death of bliss in last book and how that effects more people then u originally thought.
