About the Book

Not very many writers and columnists have the kind of exposure and experiences that Dr. Sandeep Goyal has had in the past three-and-a-half decades. Dr. Goyal has worked across domains, genres and each brand, each campaign, each communication challenge contributing to his reservoir of learnings, and leaving behind invaluable lessons.

Celebrities, especially, are a subject Dr. Goyal loves to write-on. There is much of Virat Kohli in the book. There are MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh, Hardik Pandya and Sachin Tendulkar too in the chapters. Bollywood is also well-represented with Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, and more. Corporate head honchos Naresh Goyal, Alyque Padamsee, Ajay Banga and Sanjeev Bhikchandani are also discussed in fair detail.

There are interesting chapters in the book on Intellectual Property too … from GI-tagging of Hapus mangoes to trade-marking of Khadi to Mother Teresa’s blue bordered saree.

And from Dr. Goyal’s many years of experience in handling Japanese business there are parables like the one on Lord Ganesha in the Land of The Rising Sun!
