Great book. A lot more detailed than many of the starter investing books. Had a lot of information.

If you have an older book like I did (mine sat on a shelf for quite a few years before I got to it) some minor details will be off. For example, the amounts you can invest in a IRA a year, but the bulk of the information is great and relevant.

I thought this book was a good introduction to saving and other financial situations you need to be prepared for in the second half of your life. It is a few years old, so I am looking for a newer read. The info and tables to calculate funds needed for retirement are very useful.

Simple, useful, practical. I would recommend this to anyone who needs an overview about investing at that stage in life.

Rereading this financial book, but it didn't provide much value for me. It is a good book if you are around 50. Also it was written in 2000 and is probably out of date.

Listened to this book: good ideas; have implemented some. More for those with higher incomes than I.
