basically no linguistics in this, just the occasional use of the word "nominalisation". quite funny really, considering the first essay, which portends to the scientifisation of ordinary language philosophy. nonetheless, it is very good ordinary language philosophy. i read it for the essay making the distinction between states, activities, accomplishments, and achievements, but the other essays were just as good

Good essays on various applications of linguistic approaches to philosophy. Somewhat dated now, but interesting to see where language and our use of it have changed.
