USA Today bestselling author, Nina Pierce, grew up in a house full of readers, so becoming enamored with books was only natural. She discovered romance stories in her early teens, falling hopelessly in love with knights in shining armor and the damsels who saved them.

Eventually, reading about fated loves and soul mates wasn't enough. She now spends her days at the keyboard writing her own stories, blissfully creating chaos for her characters by throwing in a villain or two, a little murder and a whole lot of mayhem as they struggle toward their happy-ever-after.

Nina resides in New England with her high school sweetheart and soul mate of thirty years and several very spoiled cats who consider her "staff". When she's not writing she enjoys spending time with her three grown children, one love-sick son-in-law and a heart-melting grandson.

Quick Take: A sweet and hot tale with likable protagonists. The mystery that drove the plot was a bit on the weak side, but the developing connection between the two main characters was enough to satisfy cravings for intrigue.

Review:
I can tell you from the get-go that the following review is not likely to be a great one. There are books that can incite strong reactions, either positive or negative. And then there are those that are pretty nice, but don't leave a lasting impression. This book, I must say, turned out to be the latter for me. It was enjoyable overall, had a lot of sizzle…but after finishing I wasn't struck by much.

The title of this book is apt in many ways (I love it when a book's title has lots of depth!). The most obvious is that of the hero and heroine of the story, who are introduced to each other under fairly false pretenses. They spend much of the story learning more about what's behind all of the superficial layers. It's that particular aspect of the book that drew me in the most. The responsible, somewhat repressed Julie Tilling has a number of cute and daring interactions with the nominally outrageous (but inwardly sweet) Damon Corey…resulting in both steamy hot and delightfully charming moments. Both characters were interesting individually, which certainly cannot be said of most romances.

I'm not going to lie…I was a bit underwhelmed by the element of the book involving the suspected murder of Julie Tilling's childhood friend. To me, it felt more like a plot device that was just there to give the two protagonists a reason to interact. The book is not very long to begin with, but I felt like the scenes and developments related to the initial premise (a one-woman investigation of a suicide that might not be what it seems) were in the background. Even the resolution of this thread seemed jumbled. This is perhaps not a book that one would read for its mystery elements.

I'm hoping that the next books, which feature the remaining siblings in the Tilling family, are successful in making sisters Meghan and Dierdre more sympathetic. As it stands, those ladies are…well, they're kind of selfish jerks. ^_^ But that's just my personal prejudice, and has little to do with the quality of the book. As it stands, I do plan on reading on to find out what romantic adventures find their way to the Tilling sisters. And I would indeed recommend it to others.

Julie Tilling, a CPA who is dependable, organized, always available to her family whenever they need, to a fault, has just lost her lost her best friend. The police have ruled it a suicide, and there isn’t evidence to indicate otherwise, but Julie knows her friend, and knows he had much to live for. Julie is determined to find out what happened to her best friend Jason. So Julie dresses up in her slutty best, and ventures out to a night club that Jason frequented to try to find some answers.

Turns out that the night club is no ordinary night club, there’s all kinds of sexually explicit activity going on. This is where “Demon Jones” the shock jock ( Damon ) comes into the story. While Julie is trying to get past security to see the owner of the club, Damon observes the confrontation and helps Julie out, but he has his own agenda for helping her. *eye waggle* Damon starts to see past her sex kitten façade, and sees that Julie is a bit naïve, starting with the Long Island iced tea. Her visit with the club owner ends up in a hot sexual encounter between Damon and Julie, and this is the beginning of feelings Damon the sworn bachelor thought he never wanted.

As Julie and Damon try to find answers to the death of her friend, they also find passion with each other they have never experienced. Julie also finds that she didn’t know Jason as well as she thought.

This was actually a pretty good read. I think the author definitely has potential. But I did have a few issues with the story and some of the words she chose to use. There’s a point in the story where something happens to Julie’s father, and she totally blamed Damon because he convinced her to leave her cell phone at home so her needy ass family couldn’t bother her on her date. I didn’t care for the way she turned on him so easily.
Also some of her descriptives for the human anatomy, such as “mushroom head” and the clincher, let me quote here for full effect:
“She lifted the furry sac and flicked wet kisses on the underside of his balls.”
Total mood kill!!!!

The author actually put together a good story with the plot and characterization, and the sex scenes were pretty hot. This is what I do like to see in an erotic personally.

I picked this up free from Amazon. An okay read, but a few issues with the story interfered with my overall enjoyment.

The external plot of Julie investigating her best friend's suicide felt tacked on as an excuse to get Julie and Damon (the hero) together. Julie appears to "forget" about this goal when she attends a night club to question the club owner about her friend's death. Instead, she focuses on letting loose from her normally conservative lifestyle and seduces the hero.

I'm not saying a heroine can't have multiple goals, but I just felt it wasn't done as seamlessly as it could have been in this story.

I also had an issue with the hero, Damon. Apparently, when we meet him, the poor chump has grown tired of endless one-night-stands with beautiful groupies who "harass" him after his gigs. (Yeah, my sympathy for Damon was piqued right there and then.) He decides he's looking for something more meaningful and resolves to go straight home after his gig that night. Admirable. EXCEPT...

*SPOILER ALERT*

...he spots Julie and dutifully hangs around to ensure she comes to no harm and to assist her investigation shags her senseless inside the club owner's office when the club owner conveniently leaves them alone. (We're supposed to believe he's NOT continuing his previous pattern of behaviour, because it's lurrrvvee with Julie, not lust.)

The other thing that bothered me was Damon wanting to become a tux-wearing, concert pianist at the end. Because the concert pianist thing is not explored in any depth, it comes across as multiple-personality disorder instead of an interesting and unusual quirk to the character. In addition, we're told his role as a shock jock celebrity is a persona he puts on for the public, but he also dresses the part outside work and rides around on a Harley. Muddying the waters, much?

I did enjoy parts of this and some of the ideas, but it wasn't executed as well as it could have been.

"Facing up to your Demons"

I think this short story falls between two stools. It's hot and spicy in places, but if those passages were removed, the story line would be fairly bland. It's a love story, with a hint of mystery, interlaced with those half a dozen sexual encounters that bubbled, rather than sizzled. On the other hand, it's a quick read, the writing is of an above-average standard, and it was free. You can't really complain.

Blind Love is the first of a three part series entitled Tilling Passions, it is about three sisters and the trials and tribulations they go through on their quest for love – with a suspenseful plot woven throughout.

Julie is the oldest of the Tilling sisters and basically everyone’s “go-to” person. Having virtually no life of her own, and emotionally distraught over the supposed suicide of her best friend, she decides to take matters in to her own hands. Dressed to kill (not literally) she goes to a club to find some answers but finds a whole lot more.

Damon Corey aka Demon Jones is a local shock jock. It is not what he really wants to do with his life but for now it is what puts food on the table. When he comes across the sexy “Jewel” he is enthralled. A totally scorching one night stand turns in to something so much more and neither of them can forget the other. Together they will work to unravel the mystery of Julie's friend’s death and see where their passion takes them.

I enjoyed Blind Love immensely. Nina Pierce has a wonderful style to her writing, she hooks you before you know it and then sweet talks you until the last page. Even knowing that there were two more books in the series I was sorry to see this story come to an end. Blind Love is a perfect balance of steamy love and suspense. I definitely recommend it.

Want to read a steam romance? This novel will quickly become a favorite of Nina Pierce's readers. Damon and Julie are the main characters as well as each others love interests. Julie needs to relax and let loose and Damon thinks he is the perfect man to help her. The novel centers around the murder of Julie's friend as well as the romance between Julie and Damon-a reader who doesn't want romance to be the sole focus of the novel will still enjoy this book. Julie's friends death is declared a suicide, but Julie knows better-her friend would never kill himself. In order to prove the police wrong, Julie must drop her good girl facade and become more of a nitty gritty investigator.

The further Julie gets into her investigation, the more she learns that the old adage-nothing is as it seems-is true. She is no longer certain she truly knew her deceased friend and she isn't entirely sure she can trust Damon, especially when the reader realizes that Damon may be connected to Julie's friends demise. The end contains a twist, further entertaining the reader. The characters are likable and the reader will really get to know and enjoy Julie. The plot is not terribly unique, but it works with this novel. This novel is recommended for adults who enjoy a little romance intertwined with mystery.

Julie Tilling is reeling from the death of her best friend. The police are calling it a suicide, but Julie isn't buying it. She knew Jason too well, knew he'd never take his own life, and sets off to prove it. But, in doing so, she'd have to shed the good, dependable, responsible daughter-and-sister persona that weighs her down and embrace the wild side she never knew exhisted. That's when she meets Damon, and his outragous, sexy alter ego, Demon Jones, Shock Jockey. Suddenly her sheltered, stable life is turned upside down.

Nothing is as it seems. Not the new mysterious Damon, and certainly not the best friend she'd know since childhood. The more she digs into his death, the more secrets she uncovers, and she begins to wonder if she ever knew Jason at all. Meanwhile, Damon remains by her side helping to sort the mystery out, yet hoping to keep his own secrets hidden. Secrets of how he just might be connected to Jason's death. The ending comes with a twist you wont see coming.

3.5 Stars...Hot love scenes that are well done and an overall pleasing book. The 'mystery' plot had a disjointed resolution at the end that was more for form than anything. Julie's sisters were so very irritating and her 'doormat of the family' persona was a tired stereotype. With all that, it was still a decent read and not a letdown. I liked Damon's character a lot. This was a free Kindle download.

This was good. I liked the main characters, but the sisters were a pain in the behind. I liked the story line although it wasn't full bodied and seemed a little choppy. The steamy scenes were pretty good though. Overall, I probably wouldn't read this again, but it wasn't a waste of time and a good book to read for passing time as it wasn't that long.

I don't like when a story starts off with a reason for a plot and the plot is actually the back story for the romance. Plus, I didn't care to read about her sisters either. DID NOT FINISH!

Julie Tilling works as a bookkeeper for her sisters' business and takes care of her parents, not exactly what she had planned for her life. When her best friend Jason dies as a suicide, Julie is the only one who is suspicious. She decides to investigate and her path crosses Damon Corey, the shock jock but sexy man.
This is an okay story with a lot of hot, sexy scenes. It's a quick read, but I think it might have benefited by a longer story arc, building the mystery of Jason's death and the relationship between Julie and Damon. It all seemed pretty rushed to me.
Julie and Damon are a good pairing. He has some hidden depths and he encourages Julie to stand up for herself which does balance the too hasty story somewhat.

This story was a little bit all over the place. It tried to be a suspense, but it really wasn't. It tried to be erotica, but it wasn't really that either. It wasn't terrible, but things felt pretty rushed and the characters didn't get much time to develop.

Again, not terrible, but not wonderful either.

When Julie Tilling loses her best friend, Jason McCarthy, she questions his death. The rumors circulating about Jason's lifestyle, and then death by his own hand, don't sit well with her. This wasn't the Jason she knew and loved. And she was determined to find out the truth...

...Even if it takes into a seedy club owned by Elvis, and acquaintance of Jason's.

Demon Jones is drawn to the sexy vixen in the club as soon as she finds her way to the dance floor. When he finds her trying to get past security into the private part of Elvis' club, he discovers that she isn't at all who she says she is, or seems to be. Then again...Demon Jones isn't exactly who he is, or seems to be. But Damon Corey doesn't have the same ring as Demon Jones.

Demon has the pick of the women at the club - and he takes advantage of it but after a while soon tires of the game. Wishing he could end the cycle and settle down, he comes face-to-face with the beauty that captures his full attention. Jewel has met her match in Demon. Just looking at him turns her from uptight, "always do the right thing," Julie Tilling, into a seductress who just can't help herself.

Believing that their steamy encounter in the club is a one-night-stand, Julie goes back to her normal, low-key life, and Damon goes back to being Demon. Except neither one can get the other out of their mind.

In the meantime, Elvis gives Julie a small box of momentos in hopes that she can glean something from them that will help figure out #1) if Jason killed himself and why; or #2) if Jason was murdered, what was the reason behind it and, of course, who did it.

"Blind Her With Bliss" combines a sexy romance with a suspenseful mystery, and for the most part, pulls off both genres pretty seamlessly. This is a short novella but in that length manages to introduce, develop, and pull together intense sexual moments, sweet romantic touches, and figure out what really happened to Jason McCarthy. Both Demon/Damon and Jewel/Julie are fantastic protagonists that work pretty well together, especially since they really haven't know each other long at any point in the novella. The secondary characters bring out sides in both Damon and Julie that help develop their personalities and tell the readers exactly who they are.

And the ending contains a plot twist that was somewhat of a shock. Everything in the story comes full circle and was satisfactory. The author's writing is clear and consistent and the dialogue is easy to follow and understand. The emotional parts of the book will easily evoke feelings within the reader.

Very nice start to a new series.

A high voltage love, suspense and murder erotica from the award winning author Nina Pierce, a specialist in such a category.

Storyline: Juliet, the eldest and most responsible of the three sisters of Tilling family, wants to investigate the sudden suicide of her best friend Jason. She suspects his death as a murder and sets out to find out the truth from an erotic Singles Night Club, called ‘Starry Nights’ owned by a gay entrepreneur Elvis Castonguay. Since Jason was a frequent visitor to this Club, she chose to probe the owner Elvis about Jason’s suicide. But there she encounters the attractive Damon Corey, the DJ of the high voltage club and also discovers, that the Club runs a secret business of live pornography, from its basement, which is unknown to the public and police. Damon Corey, a ladies man and heterosexual, falls in love with Juliet on his first sight and takes Juliet to bed in his first meeting itself. A sex and love starved Juliet falls in deep love with Damon and they together investigate the case of Jason, where they find that Jason was a gay and loved by Elvis, but later changes his mind and tries to become normal with the help of Elvis’s business partner Dr Maura. This aggravates Elvis against Dr Maura (a sex specialist), for brainwashing Jason against homosexuality and converting him to normal, but accidentally shoots down Jason in an argument with her in presence of Jason.
Finally at the time when Dr Maura confesses the truth to Juliet and Damon, in her clinic, Elvis suddenly appears and shoots down Dr Maura and tries to kill Juliet-Damon duo in fear of being exposed to the police. In the tussle between Elvis and Damon, Elvis gets shot and he dies. Damon and Juliet get married and live to lead a beautiful love-filled life thenceforth.

Positives: A highly arousing erotica experience to all the readers who easily slip into the peak of sexual pleasures while reading a passionate ‘love at first sight’ between Juliet and Damon. The sexual encounters of Juliet and Damon in various instances squeeze the juices of the readers, male or female. For all those who want to know about the Singles Parties, Singles Night Clubs, One Stand Night Outs, Public Sex and of course a high voltage sex filled love experience, this book is a must read. Readers will definitely be tempted to go for the author’s other books.
Negatives: Anybody who opines that homosexuality is a disgrace and a menace to the society, then, they should be ready to read how the same is gaining prominence and recognition, nowadays. More and more people getting into such relationships (gay/lesbian) might be a cause of worry in defiance to the law of nature.

My rating is 3.25 out of 5

Julie just knows her best friend would never in a million years kill himself, no matter what the police and everyone else seems to think. She knew her BFF better than she knows herself, so she knows Jason would not have done that. Now Julie, safe little Julie, is putting on her ameture sleuthing hat and setting out to find the truth behind the matter no matter what she has to do that is outside her norm. Before she knows what's going on she finds herself in the middle of adult nightclubs, sex, and some very sketchy internet doings. When she meets Damon, aka Demon, she is shocked by the pull he has over her, but she knows he is just a playboy looking for a one night stand...then why is she so drawn to him? Is there more to Damon than she sees? Could he in any way help her with figuring out what happened to Jason? What kind of secrets did Jason keep even from his best friend? Can Julie step outside her safe zone enough to get to the bottom of things...should she?

This was a shorter read, but one that I enjoyed. It had a mix of mystery, drama, relationships, and sex which all tied in together in a seamless fashion. I loved the characters from the very start and was pleasantly surprised by the developments of them throughout the book. I also found myself laughing out loud when Damon went to find Julie and got drug into a family outing and when they were all eating together later on in the book. It was a book that I laughed during and felt had a little of everything to offer for a readers emotions. The writing was great and flowed like a well oiled machine. The characters were amazing! The plot; really intruging with a twist of erotic with mystery. Great book for a quick read that keeps your attention and has substance to it. The sex parts were not written as super over the top, but were discriptive enough to make a reader blush. The sexual parts of the book were written in a way as to make the book an erotic book, but not in a way that took away from the main plot, at least not in my opinion. There was always something to bring it back to the main plot. I would recommend this book. It does have sexual content, so if that is not your cup of tea to have in a book, then you should find a different read. However, if you don't mind or could "get through it" then it is definately a read for you! The only thing I thought was a bit disappointing was the "hurry" of the ending. It seemed like it ended and then in the last "weeks later" part tons of stuff was skipped and just brought to the current point. I think it would have made a good extension of the book to have done a bit more detail instead of jumping ahead.

4/5 Stars!!

CPA Julie Tilling is tired of being the staid, responsible member of the Tilling family. When her best friend dies under mysterious circumstances, Julie’s investigation takes her on a path that lets out her naughty side. As she searches for answers in a naughty nightclub, Julie meets Damon Corey, aka shock jock Demon Jones. The heat between them is impossible to deny and it’s not long before Julie throws caution to the wind and herself into Damon’s arms. Their explosive sexual encounter leaves both Damon and Julie wanting more, but when a piece of evidence potentially links Damon to her dead friend, Julie has to question whether her judgment has been blinded by the pleasure Damon brings her.

Blind Her With Bliss is a fast-paced, sexy story with a dash of mystery that’ll keep you hooked from beginning to end. I love that both Julie and Damon are more than the personas shown to the world. Damon may work as a shock jock, but his “Demon” act is nowhere near his real personality. Julie, in turn, is a smart, caring woman who gives far too much of herself to her family. Though I liked the Tillings a lot, I was eager to see Julie stand up for herself and create some boundaries. Indeed, one of my favorite parts of Blind Her With Bliss was watching Julie come into her own. Separately and together Damon and Julie are a hit.

The mystery revolving around Jason (Julie’s best friend who may or may not have committed suicide) adds a dash of intrigue. I’m still debating whether or not I’m satisfied with the resolution of this plotline, but the mystery did work for me in the beginning. I also wish the ending of the story had been expanded upon, for it felt a bit rushed. Even with these two small niggles, I really enjoyed Blind Her With Bliss. In Damon and Julie’s story Nina Pierce has begun a great trilogy and I’ve already got my hands on the second Tilling Passions book, Deceive Her With Desire.

This is a modern day tale of sleeping beauty with kink. CPA Julie has spent her life taking care of everyone else until the death of her best friend sends her on a solo mission to uncover the truth. She dons a disguise and persona that awakens a slumbering beast inside her. Beast, thy name is Sensuality. Her libido is thrown into overdrive when her mission takes her to a club where exhibition and sex go hand in hand. When she tangles with our hero their consummation is passionate and more personal than either intends.

Dark and mysterious with a goo filled center his persona hides away. Damon is the best of both worlds. Intelligent and sensitive he’s forced to play a role he despises to survive. Julie see’s through his guise and together they take a journey through a wonderland of sexual exploration that may make some squirm .The mystery that surrounds her best friend Jason’s death takes her to a seedy under world unlike any she’s ever been exposed to

I don’t want to show my knowledge of Shrek, but these characters have layers like onion. Each time Nina peels away more skin we learn something we didn’t know, or expect. Nina has a way with mystery. She tells the reader just enough to make them think they have the puzzle solved. Only to turn around and reveal they were dead wrong. Blind love has it all. A romance that ranges from sweet, to sensual, to holy crap my eyes may fall out of their sockets. Characters that are well develop and a setting you relate to from the first paragraph.

This book surpassed my expectations and I would def recommend it as a read. I have to repeat though that this is not for those with vanilla taste, we get some m/m loving, along with sexual exhibition and hints of BDSM.

Death and a funeral aren’t just and end but also a beginning. The recently departed embarks on a trip no living person has ever been able to describe and the friends and relatives left behind begin a journey alone; trying to fill the void that someone has left behind. Julie knew that her almost life-long friend’s death wasn’t an accident or suicide as the local police had judged it. The unanswered questions bothered her enough to set her on a trail of discovery and possible danger. As a small town girl, at twenty-nine Julie Tilling was still innocent in far too many ways. Her investigations took her into worlds she knew nothing about. Once exposed her once sheltered life became exposed to the ugliness of the world of vice and unfettered lust; a glimpse at both sides of the sexuality spectrum. Watch as she untangles a web of mystery in search of answers to questions not yet fully formed.

Julie’s transformation from almost chaste virgin to wanton vixen when she meets a local DJ Damon Corey aka Demon Jones is hard to swallow but does keep the tale and passions flowing. As in many cases lust and seamy sex can serve as a preamble to love that can survive and even flourish with the passing of time. While reading this book I was struck with the metamorphosis our world has undergone over the last twenty years. With cellular phone advancements a dependency has been created on communication, making people available anytime, day or night. I find this both sad and scary. This is one of those sex-filled novellas written by a woman mainly for women. As a man I can say I appreciate her effort and its results. This is a tale from the state of Maine without the horror twist Stephen King is so apt in creating.

I didn't have any expectations from this story. I'm aware of it being short, that it's a romantic suspense with a touch of erotica. I got this free on Amazon for a limited time and I liked it.

It's a murder mystery with some family values and a fast-paced love story. I didn't mind the time frame when Julie and Damon fell in love cause sometimes, these things happen. It's not really the amount of time but how they spend the time together.

Yes there were a lot of sex scenes but it's not all about that. Julie wanted to know who Damon Corey is, not his persona as a shock jock, which he does for a living but it doesn't define who he is. They really supported each other's goals and it's good how the author highlighted this.

Julie's search for truth took a backseat for awhile because of the blossoming love between her and Damon. It was resolved in the end, all knots tied. Yay for the hea!

I downloaded this free from the knindle store so I didn't think that this was going to be anything fantastic and I can't say that was something that absolutely blew my mind but I was hooked on reading it (it's a relatively short read, maybe 3-4 hours worth) until I finished it.
The only thing that I didn't like was the abrupt ending of the chapter and the exchange between the two leads, it was very 'quick let's wrap this up! I'll brush aside your residual feelings from the very intense scene that just passed, we'll exchange I love you's and be done with it'. This is why it's only a three, for the whole novel, the author wrote very well, the pace was nice and the flow was good and then ... the ending. For me, a story's ending is one of the most important parts and unfortunately, this one was poorly executed.

This is a good coffee break book where you are just looking for a light read without too much depth to it. Basically, Julie's best friend has died, the police have ruled it as suicide but she thinks otherwise. So she decides to look into it herself - the story starts.

Julie is the "steadfast" daughter, the "reliable" sister and I found myself wishing that she'd get a backbone but then no one ever said that I was steadfast or reliable! Her sisters and her mother don't really come across all that well in the book but her dad is lovely.

Damon and Julie get together, have a few hiccups, straighten things out and sort out the mystery - which, can I just say, I found to be confusing. Just who did Jason love and who did he use at the end? I'm not sure.

Anyway, a good book with some steam.

Damon is a shock jock trying to forget that persona and find himself. Be happy and comfortable with who he is. Julie is a CPA who came home to help run a family business. She puts others wants and needs above her own. When she sees Damon at a night club the two are drawn to each other. Damon is working there and Julie is trying to find out what really happened after her best friend's apparent suicide. The two share a hot tryst at the club and neither is prepared for their reactions to one another.

This one was okay. It was pretty short and hot. It was predictable but still fun. It took me longer than it should've to read but I think I had some reader's block going on. I would probably read more from her.

Blame it on Amazon!!!!

So I fell for it. I actually tried a book that Amazon suggested would match my reading tastes...apparently in another dimension I never want to visit.
According to the book's own blurb, this was supposed to be a mystery. The only real mystery is WHY that part of the story was even included to begin with, since it only served to limp along to the next sexual encounter. Apparently the author spent too much time researching porn and forgot that a viable story needs a plot, not just segues to sex that was trite and derivative at best.
But more importantly, like another reviewer, I found the author's barely masked disdain for the LGBT community to be offensive and off putting.

Nina Pierce has masterly created a book that is both hot and steamy, while being fun to read. The story doesn't get lost to the romantic scenes. The characters are believable and honest. I felt for Julie as I was reading about her family dynamics- it was something that could have been in any family. I absolutely love Damon, everyone needs a good bad boy sometimes. This book keeps you on the edge of your seat as you race along with Julie and Damon, while Julie tries to figure out just what happened to Jason. I hope that there are more perfect blends like this from Pierce in the future. Spot on!

Got this one free from Smashwords. Looking forward to reading this book after checking out reviews of others that have already read it.

I really enjoyed this book. It was sensual, not sexual, with wonderful story. It is the first book in a series called "Tilling Passions" about the stories of three different Tilling sisters and how they find the love of their lives in unexpected places.

The book was very well written, with little to no grammatical, punctuation or spelling errors. This is a big plus for me, as it drives me crazy to see them in books that I read. I will definitely continue to read the rest of the series.

This story is everything it's cracked up to be - a hot, steamy fun read with likeable main characters.

Intent on finding out if her best friend has been murdered when the police have written his death off as suicide, Julie braces herself to attend a sleazy nightclub where the "hot" people have fun.

Needless to say, there she meets Damon, DJ extraordinaire. Things go uphill - or downhill - depending on the perception of the reader - from there.

The author has managed to find a different angle on the usual romantic shennanigans, for which I congratulate her!

Easy, fast read, good plot, well-written :)

Julie just lost her best friend. The police are calling it a suicide but she isn't convinced. So she goes to this bar to talk to a man who knew her friend and, hopefully, could shed some light on how he really died. There she meets the DJ, Demon (Damon) and things get hot.

I probably would have given this 4 stars if not for the totally clueless and irritating heroine. She is supposed to be so smart and responsible but she does some really stupid stuff. I liked the hero but he had his flaws too. This wasn't a long book so, of course, it moves quickly without a lot of development.

Julie and Damon are both trying to find themselves. Julie always there for her family, never doing for herself. Damon on his own, with no family for support. Both living how others want, either out of need and or what is expected. How does one person open your mind and heart with what is supposed to be a one night of just being? Find out how one night of chance, opens the door to so much more. More than either Damon or Julie could ever hope for, love, trust and some mystery as to what happened to Julie's best friend.
