Makow was born in Zürich, Switzerland. As an infant, he moved with his family to Canada, settling in Ottawa. At the age of 11 he began to write the syndicated advice-to-parents column "Ask Henry," which ran in 50 newspapers in the early 1960s[citation needed] and was published in book form in 1962.[1] He appeared as a guest on What's My Line? and stumped the panel.
He received his Ph.D. in English Literature from the University of Toronto in 1982, and lives in Winnipeg. In 1984, he invented Scruples, a game of moral dilemmas which was translated into five languages and sold seven million copies worldwide.[citation needed]
Makow postulates a hidden hand shaping modern history according to a long-term occult (Satanic) agenda. He argues that democracy today is a charade and serves as an instrument of social control; the mass media generally stifles information and channels thought; and popular entertainment degrades us and diverts the audience from what is really happening.
The occult force, which operates through Freemasonry, is empowered by the London-based central banking cartel which must bring about world tyranny to defend its monopoly on credit.[citation needed] His collection, Illuminati: The Cult that Hijacked the World (2009), documents this view of history. He believes the Protocols of the Elders of Zion are authentic and are the blueprint of the New World Order. Read, learn, open your eyes and be informed.
By reading this book you'll learn so much about politics, banking, media, religion, society, the world and the events that have been happening throughout history; especially the politics of World War 2 through different eyes.
This was my second time reading this book, I recommend reading to anyone who wants to be informed about the true identity and character of that small group of people (BANKERS i.e the 1%) who rule our world and are responsible for the moral and spiritual degradation of Western societies.
You might think it's crazy and far fetched but some of us have woke up to it and too much doesn't add up!

Henry Makow is a Jewish writer who's family has suffered many losses in 1933-1945.
Illuminati: The Cult That Hijacked the World gives clear insight who currently rules the world since the "dark ages" by creating wars, boom-bust economics and degrading the world's population to flocks of ants staged to wage war with each other at any given time. His theories are ridiculous, although he bills them as irrefutable truth rather than theory, whining on his idiotic website every time someone points out most of what he and his contemporaries say is useless.

After reading "Long Way to go for a Date" I decided to see what else Makow had in store- I expected sexism but I never in my wildest dreams expected to forever consider Alex Jones or Art Bell sane by comparison, This is an utter piece of trash.

The author is a Canadian Jew. He compiles his knowledge from multiple references.
It's my first time reading a "conspiracy" book. I did so with a pinch of salt, questioning the truthfulness whenever I could, with some internet cross-checking. There were times when my mind was blown away by the variety of revelations. For example, I learnt how the Illuminati orchestrated both World Wars, French Revolution, Communism, Nazism, the Great Depression, Cold War, wars in Iraq and Libya, Sept 11 "War on Terror", how the "greenbacks" led to the assassination of JFK and Abraham Lincoln, feminism, LGBT, diversity, political correctness, materialism, anti-semitism and more. By dividing and subverting society, the invisible elite set up minorities at each other's throats; Black vs White, Straight vs Gay, Christian vs Jew, Catholic vs Protestant, Capitalism vs Communism..
Illuminati together with its aware or unwitting agents (Freemasons) is a monopoly capitalist of elite international bankers that control the Bank of England, Federal Reserve, World Bank, IMF, British/US Intelligence agencies, etc.
The story started off centuries ago when the Sabbatean Frankist Jews deviated from Orthodox Jews and followed Talmud Judaism which teaches Jewish supremacy, world domination and contempt for Christ, Christians and non-Jews. They are Luciferians and believe that man can become God. The book expounds that anti-semitism arises because of these Talmudic Jews' belief which is different from the Orthodox Jews, a God-fearing people. The book also describes how the elite Jews kill their own Jewish people in the Holocaust ("Burnt Offering") to support their Zionist migration to Israel. Their hidden motive was to make Israel a dagger in the heart of Arab nations.
Overall, it is an enlightening book to read with a skeptical mind.

I hate to give this such a low rating, because the author has great intentions. However, the book was written extremely tediously. It was so hard to get through. The information itself was interesting and thought-provoking, but I thought there was way too much detailed fluff that made it feel like schoolwork. Some of the information was a bit hard to take in, especially the WWII details. I plan to do more research to confirm the validity of some of his statements.

"The Dishonest Hilarity of Transparent Bigotry," could be the title of this cartoonish little conspiracy book barked out of an actual kook. Unlike other serious, but perhaps misguided (or occasionally dead on) conspiracy thinkers, Makow's poisonous cynicism seems to blind him to hypocrisy. Every allegation made here, which exclusively follows the "Zionist/Illuminati/Freemason/Communist/Socialist/Feminist/Gay Agenda" structure of who to blame, is nothing really new outside of the selfish individual perspective of the author. All of those slurred titles (as Makow's contempt defines them) are exactly the same to him, who also alternates 'Zionist" with "Jew," and fills them all in as part of the "Satanic" or "Luciferian" cult secretly ruling the world through "Satanic Rothschild International Bankers." And lest we accuse him of bigotry he also preaches that "anti-semistism" is "the greatest lie ever invented by the" Zionist/Illuminati/Communist/Socialist/Feminist/Homosexual Rothschild Jews, "meant in enforce guilt in people, who do not want to be thought of as racist." He claims that the Illuminati (and to parody a constant refrain in this book, "i.e." Jews) thought all this out thousands of years ago. He quotes the Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion exhaustively, shrieking that anyone who does not see the truth of the document is also part of the plot against . . . him?
The proof Makow uses sounds like this: "If you don't think that" or "It seems," or "I believe," or "according to" some remarkably uncredible source (Nazi war criminals seeking leniency, Communist turncoats become born-again Christians in efforts to avoid treason charges, froth-mouthed white nationalist writers), or usually his own bigoted opinions, based on the bigotry of another.
Makow keeps reminding us that "I am a Jew," then following this with "Jews that do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as their savior are part of the Luciferian/Zionist plot whether they know it or not."
There is no coherence to this book, merely repetition of the same point, slightly rephrased, over and over again throughout two hundred fifty pages. I suspect that these were all seperate, silly essays published on his website, or scrawled into a panicked notebook to be reviewed with horror. There is certainly no editing to either correct contradictions between the pieces, to fix basic errors, or to link the seperaate essays into a fluid narrative.
Two stars because one star gets too much attention, and it is, once you look past just how offensive Makow's ideas are, a very funny example of a howling, hate-filled kook ranting out his fear of the world.

Absolutely stunning and amazing revelations
I simply couldn't put this book down until I had finished it. I was very eager to follow up on all the source material. At the end of the day, we have all been lied to over and over again.

Way to much conspiracy and never leaves the topic of jews. This piece of work repeats the same formula of intuition to make new meanings of what is already been said before.
