It touches also Agile Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) processes including building, testing, integrating, and deploying software. The idea is to improve product quality, to reduce time to market, and to make all parties happier.

There are examples, defined as a set of tasks. There are also described the tools and practices needed to accomplish those tasks effectively.
