What a handy and direct insight into a pivotal time in history. 60 pages of excerpts from Alan Clark's Diaries, covering events related to the ousting of Margaret Thatcher as Prime Minister of England. (Of the United Kingdom? Obviously I need to re-read the book to make sure I get that right.)

I'm a big fan of these Penguin books... Small and portable and perfect for stuffing in a jacket pocket or the outside of a messenger bag for easy reading on a bus or train or waiting to meet friends.
