This book is an excellent tool for its intended audience. The tips, tricks and techniques are easy to follow but definitely require mental and emotional effort. No quick fixes! These tips require you to think about the way you perceive yourself and how you want to be perceived. James offers you sage advice based on her own experiences and observations. However, she does not beat around the bush or try to mother you. She wants you to gain the right amount of confidence to achieve your goals and to feel better about yourself, and that takes some much-needed bluntness from her side. Some tips are repeated across chapters, but that's because they are relevant to different real-life situations and in different ways. Also, repetition goes a long way to getting the yummy nuggets of advice to stick. Every line is relevant and every example is relatable. Loved it!
