An introduction to the area of Business Ethics. I recommend it to whoever wants to take her or his first steps into this area and also to everybody who seeks for improving her or his skills in decision making. It gives answers to general questions like what mortality and ethics is and where the link is between these terms. But also allows to develop a better idea on how to handle complex situations which ask for an ethical solution. Like, is it morally correct to use aggressive methods to save lives? To what extent can be personal freedom guaranteed before it interferes with social interests? Also it discusses the pro's and con's of different moral approaches. E.g. Utilitarianism, Liberalism, Egalitarianism, Kant's Categorical Imperative and so on. In conclusion, it's a great first step into the cosmos of Business ethics. Recommended by my professor of my university and from now on also by myself too. It takes some time to read but I can guarantee, whoever has a read, you will learn something from it for your life. Whether in your job or your personal life. It leaves more impact to your critical thinking than any spiritual book out there could. Why? Because the book introduces you to all the instruments you need to paint the walls on your own.
A person is morally responsible for an injury when the person caused the injury and did so knowingly and freely. A person is morally responsible for an injury or wrong if:

Read as part of my Ethics class. The book had a lot of interesting discussion starters, but I don't feel like it fully explored any of the ideas. It felt like the author was trying to lead us to certain opinions without us realizing what he was doing. There are many instances where he presents a very strong argument - on one side of a debate. An unthinking person would naturally be insensed, but on further reflection, you realize there is a lot more of the debate that has been left out.
All in all, read it if you have to, but don't if you don't.
this book would be good if you cut out all the both sidesy ethics stuff and sticked to statistical stuff in parts three and four. it was good but got very arduous to read towards the end.

From a business standpoint there is some opinion stating that ethics and business is a separate thing and can not be run simultaneously. But this view is to be scrutinized further. Some of the success experienced by large companies all starts with good application of ethics in business process regarding whether the production process, treatment of employees, customers and suppliers or their competitors. Some of the company explaines in this book, applied the principles of good ethics in the process of production, to customers and suppliers.
