A wonderful book full of delightful stories. My absolute favorite was Dingo's Picnic by B. Wongar, a masterfully written short story exposing the contempt which the white Australians felt for the aboriginals at a certain point in their history.

Australia must be very hot & dry based on the details of many of these stories. I enjoyed this introduction to a wide variety of Australian writers and look forward to reading more by many of them.
