I loved this book as a kid and just re-read it for the first time as an adult. It's still super-charming and holds up better than I thought. I don't think I ever read the other books in the series but this works perfectly fine as a standalone.

I had read this as a young girl, but had forgotten the plot . Set in the days of King Arthur, R. Dragon sets out on a quest. Rosemary Manning paints her characters so charmingly that even the most wicked are not that awful. Another satisfying tale.

Entertaining gently comic addition to Arthurian legends. Intersects with the Knight of the Fair Hands/Beaumains.

A rollicking tale of all things Arthurian, with the added whimsical delight of R. Dragon. So much fun for children and adults alike.

Fun but not a patch on the original Greensmoke book. Still fun introduction to elements of Arthurian myth for my daughter.

This was a childhood favourite, and it was nice to revist it again. A perfectly charming book for children.
