Jade Ash made a promise to her dying mother, to visit her mom's childhood home in Eagle River, Ontario, Canada. Jade meets the owner of the estate, Sloan Taggert and is surprised when he asks he to stay in his home as a guest.
Jade can't pass up the opportunity to be around so many hunky men, so accepts the offer. Little does she know she has walked into a den of werewolves.
Sloan claims Jade as her mate and convinces her to go through the bonding ceremony with him, then himself and his two brothers, so they can anchor her to life, in case of his demise, in front of the whole pack.
They seem to be getting along with each other fine, until Sloan's enemy, Devlin Spawn, Alpha of the Hell Hound Pack, kidnaps Jade.
Will he get to her in time to rescue her? Or will it be too late for Jade to survive?

My name is Becky Wilde, also known as Becca Van.

I have written over 100 books under the pseudonym of Becca Van and decided it was time for a change. I am now writing and self-publishing under the pseudonym of Becky Wilde under Whimsical Words Publishing.

I live in the southern state of Victoria in Australia. I have been married to my husband for almost 34 years and though we’ve had our ups and downs like any normal couple, we’re still going strong.

We have two adult children, a girl and a boy whom we love dearly.

Australia is a vast country with tropical forests, vast deserts, and sweeping plains. Due to the lack of water and vast aridity, a large part of the country is uninhabitable, and most of the population lives along the coastlines. Although Australia can be harsh, I find it to be a wonderful country.

I love my country, the changing landscapes and the friendly people.

I think this is quite possibly the worst book I've ever attempted to read. And I don't make that claim lightly. ATROCIOUS editing, unbelievably eye-rolling dialog and a couple who deserve each other, if nothing else but to complement each others raging stupidity.

Pretty good story with hot character interaction. Pretty basic storyline...girl meets wolf, girl gets claimed by wolf, girl becomes wolf...

Alright, this book totally reminds me of when prono- movies remake Hollywood movies. Like B- rated film for pron version of Twilite or something. The storyline don't make sense and the h goes along with H just for the fact that they need to end up banging each other somehow.

A novella that tells the story of the mating of the Alpha to a human woman who has come to Eagle River to fulfill a deathbed promise to her mother--to visit the home in which her mother was raised. Now that cottage sets on property owned by the Eagle River Pack and of course, when the Alpha encounters Jade, he "knows" that she is his mate. Of course, she goes screaming into the night when she discovers he is a shifter and that she is surrounded by shifters. But as these stories go, she recovers her sanity and agrees to allow him and his Betas to open up the realities of a shifter society to her. She is abducted by a rogue shifter pack who is working to dismantle the other packs in the area as a bid for power. The bulk of the story is the account of Jade's rescue, her near death, her mating with the Alpha and so forth. This story was quite similar to many other short stories and novellas based on the same plot. The ebook was also written in manuscript style--double spaced--and I felt a bit "snookered" by the publisher in selling such a book with so little content for the price. Yet Ms Wilde is a good writer and in spite of the simplistic plot and similarities to many other shifter tales, it is a fun read and certainly not a major commitment of time and energy.

Promising her mother that she would return to her childhood home upon her death, Jade Ash is ready to fulfill her wish. With some trepidation, she heads to Eagle River, Ontario hoping to talk the owner of the house into letting her see the cottage her mother was raised in.

Sloan Taggert knows the instant he sees Jade she is his mate, he also senses that it is going to take some seduction on his part to win her heart.

Pretty good start to the series. Jade is perfect as the alpha mate, even without knowing she is destined to be Queen she holds herself regally and acts with compassion, as well as a few sparks with her temper when it comes to Sloan. Fun read.

Jade promised her dying mother that she would return to Eagle River, to the town where her mother grew up. Her mother's previous home is now inhabited by werewolves. The pack's Alpha, Sloan, meets Jade and knows she is his mate. He is also generous about sharing her with his brothers and other pack members.

There is a little bit of mystery concerning animosity with a neighboring pack who try to eliminate the competition. This story had all the factors that I really like in a shifter story, especially in the romance department.

I really like the story and the sexy alpha male characters but through almost every series I'v read of Becky Wilde there's been writing mistakes. Sometimes when she's writing about one character she accidentally puts wrong name in the scene. This was very confusing at times. She also repeats herself in every series. Even with all these faults the series she writes is very sexy, very dirty a good read for the price.

dnf...from the reviews I thought this book was worth a shot. Nope, bad editing and writing. Although the storyline seems pretty basic, it could have been told far better. Some of the better books are simple stories told well...this was not one of these.
