About the author

Usama was born in Egypt and grew up in a Christian home. While in government schools in Egypt, he learned about Islam just as every other student does in a Muslim country. Usama also studied for a university degree in Egypt which included the study of Sharia, Islamic Law. He first came to America in 1992. With all of his knowledge about Islam, he felt he could reach out to Muslim people in America with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Thus he began The Straight Way of Grace Ministry. For over a decade, Usama has traveled across the country with one burning, passionate desire—“Revealing the Truth About Islam.”

His focus is twofold: to equip the church to minister to Muslims, and to warn all Americans about the deceptive methods being used by Muslims that lead so many into the cult of Islam. '

The alleged translator is known to a genuine islamophobic Christian and is a permanent guest on the Christianization channels that broadcast lies about Muslims.

I am doubly offended by the translation, first, I am a professional translator of over 30 years in the field and this so-called accurate translation is extremely far from being so. It is not but nightmarish hallucinations by a Muslim hater, blind heart psychopath. He attempted to vomit all what is in his sick mind of hatred and rancor against Muslims , their religion and prophet.

Second, I am a Muslim who reads always the classical and modern interpretations done by well-known scholars of Islam, and I know very much that Dakak's translation is mere disregard to the human mind, an insult to human intelligence, and a stab in the back of the dignity of any rational, conscious and intelligent human being. It is an unequivocal call to Fitna between Muslims and Christians.

In sum, if you respect your self and intelligence you should not buy this garbage.

From a literary standpoint, the Qur'an doesn't make much sense. It's not very well organized, the stories are vague without much explanation, it is repetitive seemingly without reason. It is a good insight into Islam, however. And if all Muslims actually read and understood the Qur'an, then I would have been dead a long time ago, and so would many of you who read this.

I have met the translator of this version, and he's an amazing guy. Thankfully, he's an infidel, like me. Otherwise, like I said, I wouldn't be writing this review.

If you want an insight into true Islam, read their holy book--this book. You may actually end up knowing more about it than many Muslims.

Yuu should read this for yourself, but below are some highlights. There are multiple verses for each idea. My only complaint about this translation is it is tiring to read (this is probably more due to the Arabic rather than the author's translation).

Allah leads people astray.
Sura 3:54: And they deceived, and Allah deceived. And Allah is the best deceiver.

Being "saved" is based on good works.
Sura 64:9 ... and whoever believes in Allah and does good deeds, he will atone for him his evils....

Allah is the author of/created evil:
Sura 113:1-3: Say, "I seek refuge in the lord of the daybreak, from the evil which he created, and from the evil in the darkness when it comes.
