Great mind training by reading this theological look at unity in the church by renowned German theologian Pannenberg. Refreshing to see decades old legitimate theological thought that points to the immediate need for churches to work toward unity as an essential mode of accomplishing its mission. "The unity of all Christians is not some optional feature of the nature of the church, which is desirable, but can, if necessary, be dispensed with. This means the being of the church itself is in question if it's unity is not realized."
