About the author

Lilian B. Yeomans was a Canadian physician who became one of the most prominent healing evangelists in the early Pentecostal movement. Her remarkable ministry resulted from her own deliverance from the downward spiral of drug addiction. After she found spiritual and physical healing in the power of Jesus Christ, she committed herself to preaching the gospel and presenting Jesus as the Great Physician.

I have read "Balm of Gilead" several times and have been enormously blessed each time. In my review of one of the other books in this healing series -- "Healing From Heaven" -- I say that all four of the books in the series are excellent. As a minister of God's healing Word and power personally for over 40 years -- and the author of a book on healing myself -- I can testify firsthand that Dr. Yoeman's works are some of the finest, most anointed books ever written on the subject of healing from Jesus Christ. They are packed with her first-hand experience receiving healing from God personally and ministering that healing to thousands and seeing their lives changed forever by the Word and Spirit of God. Anyone wanting to receive healing -- or just understand better what God's Word really teaches about the subject -- will find these books a great help and encouragement.
