A excellent book which through very well described characters traces the history of the growth of Cardiff.

If you know Cardiff, he puts you in the street and even the house. Most of his buildings are no longer there but by going to the street you can still imagine.
A really good read and such detail.
I have now read this for the third time over a oeriod of 45 years.
