Aboard the cross-Australian Indian-Pacific express, Hartley Rhys, an investigator for the Sword Shipping Line of Singapore, follows a murderous hijacker
This is an enjoyable and quick read. I've always enjoyed the murder mystery set on a train. It's the Agatha Christie fan in me. This story does not start out as a murder, but the main character is investigating clues left behind by his murdered coworker, which pointed him to take the journey on this train. Murder eventually happens of course, but not without hijacking, robbery, family feuds, and other intrigues. I recommend this book for a quick ride of fun in the Long Straight of Australia.
