My baby boy loves Batman and he adores this one so much we have checked it out twice from the library! I am so happy to report that this one doesn't disappoint.

All adults sometimes wonder whether or not our leaders have been overtaken by aliens; however, in this short-story they actually were. Super Heroes were banned by the President on the day that signifies freedom for every American.

In this book, it took three of the greatest heroes to rescue the free world! Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman all team up to defeat this massive one eyed alien, and eventually they succeeded and everyone finished out the fourth as it should be- in celebration.

Batman novels by Super DC Heroes are clean and wholesome. I never have to worry about what my child my hear and learn when reading these novels to him, they never disappoint and I am always able to say that justice prevails through every trial that the hero must face.

In this superhero book Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman team up together to save the United States from the evil Starro who is attempting to take over by controlling the President and then the US Military.

All three superheros work together (even after the President under the control of Starro states that superheroes are no longer allowed) to save the nation on July 4.

This story showcased the super abilities of our heroes.

I would recommend this book to families who enjoy reading about Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman.

This book is written in a comic book type format but wasn't hard to follow for a younger reader. (A good way to introduce a reader to the comic book style.) It has several large words that a beginning reader would have a hard time reading so I would say this is probably a level 3 or 4 book. But it's written where a beginning reader does understand and could read most alone. Anyone that likes Batman and super heroes would enjoy this book. My son that doesn't like to be read to or try and learn to read sat and listened to this book as I read to him due to Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman teaming up to save Washington D.C. from an evil villain. This is also a 4th of July type of book so would be a good one to incorporate into a lesson plan for the 4th of July.

Overall, a good story. I liked that this book included Wonder Woman and she actually had a role in the defeat of Starro. Kind of an advanced read for children. The pictures are pretty simple and not super-cartoony so probably better for older children who are interested in superheroes. For younger superhero-enthusiast, I think the Super Hero Squad books would be a better fit. Yes, I know there's a whole DC vs. Marvel thing going on there, but it's my point of reference. Any of the Lego Batman ones would probably work for DC fans, but I have not read any of them.
