David Rawles' job seeker guide is an incredible book, whether you are a cafeteria Christian, a fundamentalist, anything in between, or even of a different faith. Among the many career guides out, Rawles's book is one of the most concisely written books on job search. There is absolutely no fluff. Each chapter, ordered chronologically along a job seeker's path, contains no-nonsense advice for people in transition that can be applied immediately, step-by-step. Outstanding were the chapters on how to overcome negative emotions after job loss, how to do a comeback, how to write your CV and cover letters, how to find the boss who is best for you, and how to put your best references to work. There are countless other tips in this gem. The book is full of quotes from the Bible...an amazing source as it turns out. I was blown away by the relevance of the author's citations and examples from the Bible. If you are looking for a job right now, Finding A Job God's Way should be on your desk.
