A History of Brazil

Rate this book
Here is a new edition of the book generally acclaimed as the best single-volume history of Brazil. It has been thoroughly revised and updated to include expanded treatment of intellectual, social, and popular history, and to provide increased coverage of labor, blacks, women, and the military in Brazilian history.

Complete in breadth and chronological span, A History of Brazil is a panoramic interpretation of the Brazilian past from discovery to the present that treats the economic, social, cultural, and political evolution of Latin America's largest nation.

I think you must be interested to know deeply more about Brazil and then you can start and finish this book, Brazil is a country of young people, as 62% of Brazilians are aged 29 or under. The median age is 31 years. The country has a population of approximately 215 million people, where 49.2% are men and 50.8% are women. I recommended you at first take a look at this article, "https://www.citiesabc.com/city/recife/" if you find it interesting, then start to read this book. This is the way that I regularly do to choose historical book.

An interesting book to say the least. I found Emperor Pedro the Second to be the most fascinating personality in the entirety of the book.
