I have not enjoyed this book. it is the 2nd Jodi Picoult book I have read and I found them depressing and unrealistic. I could not relate to the characters in this one and I found it extremely boring. the story did not grip me and i started to dislike the characters and did not care what happened really! it was a real struggle to finish it. this book was highly recommended but I certainly will not look at another!
I enjoyed this book. Again, this was in true Jodi Picoult fasion... You think you know what is going on and then there is a curve ball. I love how there are different perspectives about the subject and how you feel with the characters. You go through quite an intense journey in this book.
I've decided that Jodi Picoult's books are depressing. But I'm almost half finished with this one so of course I have to finish it. The "story" is plausable about two teen aged kids who have a suicide pact. The girl dies but the boy doesn't and is accused of murder. Picoult's books are written to be very realistic, but any that I have read are about sad or troubling events. Why did I pick this up at the library?

THE POLICE THINK CHRIS DID IT AND THIER TRYING TO FIGURE IT OUT.
