CASES IN PUBLIC HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT is a collection of 30 actual case studies (with only names changed) with an emphasis on the social and ethical concerns of public managers as well as the impact of 9/11 on the field.
The book is full of scenarios, with some having actual conclusions; however, I would have liked more closure for the difficult cases. I am learning and would have liked more guidance as to what directions I could have taken in each situation.
These are new times for business. Employees present new challenges. Author T. Zane Reeves spells out the challenges in plain language and offers workable frameworks for business owners and managers. Very well done.
