Helsinor: A play
A darkly comic take on Shakespeare's play Hamlet, this time told from the point of view of Claudius, his uncle. Claudius is the brother of a mad tyrant, and takes action to free a kingdom of his damaging influence, marrying the queen as a gesture of continuity. All of Denmark approves of his action, except for his stepson Hamlet, who returns home from college in order to set things right.
