Another 4.5* volume
We've hit a tricky snag in the series where plot points have to start resolving and resolved there, new things starting to edge into play and the focus appears to be shifting. Artistically I don't know about that but that's just manga - I'm not entirely sure that Masako Watanabe completely knew what she wanted out of this series but hey I can't say I'm not enjoying the introduction of Egyptian hypnotist Tutankhamun, turning the whole thing into a Faustian bargain and making it possible for Isabella to both have doubts, be more sympathetic and remain the primary villain. Will the two girls, by the final volume (8) eventually come together in order to defeat this evil?
