(Friends taking care of friends) Skitty Kitty loves chasing bubbles and Pepper can’t blow them fast enough. The sheer fun of their play is also the cause of Buttercup the Butterfly’s troubles; she gets swallowed up inside a bubble and floats away. Not to worry, Pepper won't let Sassy the Snake discourage him – It's Pepper to the rescue!
Guy Brooke grew up fascinated with the lyrical words of songs. How could he, too, manipulate such emotions? After years of writing 100 plus songs, producing two self-published music albums, crafting and directing three original musical plays, and conducting five guitar concerts through San Juan College in Farmington, New Mexico, it proved to be easy for him to cross over into colorful rhyming stories for children and young adult fantasy novels. Guy loves life, loves the young, and loves to write. Residing in Naches, Washington with his wife, Barbara, Guy wishes to continue manipulating words for the young readers until carpal tunnel takes its toll :)
Love these books! The Pepper series is so good. Troubles with bubbles is a sweet story about carring for others. My kids love it. The stories are fun and light hearted but all feature a special message and lesson.
Again, another wonderful children's book by Guy Brooke. My kids adore this one as much as the other three. We love the rhyming, and that Pepper becomes a true hero despite the negative comments coming from Sassy. I hope there will be more Pepper adventures coming our way!
