Martin Chemnitz, a masterful theologian, provides an excellent resource for ministers of the Evangelical Lutheran Church. Using Master Philip Melanchthon’s Loci Praecipui Theologici 1559 as a foundation, Chemnitz expounds upon each loci with exegetical and etymological insights accompanied by the testimonies of Church Fathers which informs his own theological insights. The reader will find detailed and faithful exposition on major doctrines ranging from the triune God to sinful man in this Loci.

Every Lutheran minister or seminarian should read through Loci I and II before the prime of their ministry.

I look forward to reading Loci part II.
