A wonderful book about the changing seasons, from the viewpoint of a little girl. The seasons are experienced by smells, taste, touch, sounds and sights. Beautiful artwork as always and plenty of scenes from nature. Seeing a corgi in this book made me wonder when the queen first started having corgis and whether reading this story had inspired her, probably isn't old enough, but if I get a moment I will see if the date of this book predates the queens choice of dog companion!

A book with the changing of the seasons and how they're experienced with the five senses - all presented as only Tudor can do!

Cute little book with great illustrations. Rylan especially liked it.

April 10, 2011This is a great book to read and talk about the five senses and the changing of the seasons. I would use this book to and have the students discuss how they use their senses and what they taste, smell, touch, see, and hear in the four seasons.

A book received from my grandparents when I was a girl. sweet book. Goes through the year with a girl on a farm and the different things each season brings into her daily life.
