Exonerated for a crime he didn't commit, Dawson Reynolds has worked hard to make a new life. Now a fabulously successful real-estate mogul, he will never forgive the powerful Warner clan for turning their backs on him when he needed them most...and he's determined to demand what's his.
But when he returns to Heather Hill, his plans immediately spin out of control, starting with his fierce and undeniable attraction to a Warner niece, gorgeous Yale Law graduate Arianna Smith. Still reeling from their passionate interlude, he is stunned by a family crisis that forces him to reevaluate everything he is and everything he thought he wanted....
Arianna falls for the charismatic real-estate tycoon the moment she meets him, but she has fears about starting a relationship with a man as tormented as Dawson, even after their erotic idyll in the Hamptons. Can she help him heal the bitter pain of the past with the promise of a passionate future together?
A recovering lawyer, Ann Christopher has been published since 2006 and writes steamy contemporary romance.
When she’s not writing, Ann likes to do the following, in no particular order: read; cook; eat; hang out at Target looking for new stuff she doesn’t need; play with her 2 rescue dogs and 2 rescue cats; and travel the world with her family. She lives in Ohio. If you’d like to recommend a great new TV show or share a recipe for homemade cake of any kind, Ann would love to hear from you!

Forgiveness us hard to give and even harder to accept, but one you give and receive it life can be grand. Joshua/Dawson learned this lesson the hard way, he earned it.
No one can say that Ann Christopher doesn't know how to write a story. It is technically sound and developed enough where you want to know more.
However, with this final addition it was anticlimactic. It was predictable and the reason for counting is to prove yourself wrong. The dynamics of the story makes you believe Arianna and Dawson are related. The shift in understanding as to why Arianna was in Columbus to begin with is up for debate. Then the chance meeting between her and Dawson.
Understanding physical attraction is a real thing that leads to different emotions, you're on the journey of discovery.
All is not lost with the story as the underlying message is forgiveness and the ability to forgive even when you're the victim. Releasing said bondage so that you have the ability in which to forge ahead.
This author's use of parallelism is incredible to me, she keeps me laughing. Her writing is extraordinary, moving and entertaining. The writing leaves one wanting for more.
Just thinking and wishing; "Redemption's Kiss" cannot b found, book #4 to the "The Warner Family" 🙃🤔
Since each book is a continuation of the last one I decided to wait and give my review at #5. So worth the wait. I hope everyone enjoys reading these as much as I did,you will not be disappointed
I could even imagine everything in my world being nothing as it seems. I’m so glad Joshua was able to learn to forgive and Arianna finally came clean love wouldn’t be love of it didn’t create situations of proof 💋

It was nice to read a follow up of the Warner Family. Dawson/Joshua surely was something else. He was extremely surely, which made him incredible sexy. Ari came to him at the perfect time in his life when he really needed her. They had this incredible chemistry from the moment they met, it was definitely love at first site for both of them. Their love scenes were off the chart, I just wish there were more of them!! This is a gr8 read from Ann Christopher...check it out.
For the reviewers who said they were cousins obviously weren't paying attention when reading. Dawson/Joshua was not a blood relative of Arnetta, so there is no way that Dawson/Joshua were blood cousins, just by marriage, to which either of them didn't know about.
