A children's resource is organized in a format similar to an adult study Bible, introducing the books of the Bible, providing footnotes and questions, and retelling important stories from the viewpoint of such characters as Joshua, David, Esther, and Daniel. Reprint.
We use this with our three year old daughter. It is pretty good as far as such things go. I usually dislike the kiddie Bibles and Bible stories because they mess up the stories so badly, but editorial misdeeds are kept to a minimum. The illustrations (which are not the biggest part of the evaluation, obviously) are a bit weak, though.
I love the fact that this kids Bible hits every book of the Bible. The stories have been biblically accurate and easy to read aloud. We use this with our 4 and 2 year olds, but it could easily be given to older kids (7-8 yrs olds) to read on their own.
