A heartfelt story told in photographs and Moose the dog's narration, about how one small dog helped his owner chase the Black Dog away.
My name is Moose and my master's a photographer. Well, he usually is. At the moment, he's in trouble. He feels really sad. Because he's got not work. I know what that means: more pictures of scruffy old me . . . Captured through his owner Martin's photographs, this is the story of Moose the dog's life in East London, and the effect of the recession on his owner. Moose introduces us to his friends, favorite smells, and thoughts on the modern world. Through his poignant and funny first-hand account of the highs and lows of being a photographer's dog, and his efforts to help his owner through a time of no work, we discover a wagging tale about not giving up, and being a man's best friend.
Holiday read! In Spain. Lester up before me - had a run and tells me he read a book before I got up. Not hard - pretty quick read but original approach 3.5
Everything about this book is perfect. The photography is gorgeous, the story is sweet, and the dog Moose is just so adorable! I wish it were longer, but it would probably take away from its charm!
A beautiful and touching photo story about a powerful little dog called Moose and his owner, Martin. Moose is a friend, healer and confidant of the highest order providing unconditional love and support to his best friend. Great for all ages.
I love this book so much have read it several times! The photographs make this book, they are brilliant. But the text has just enough humour and makes a good story despite the theme, (its about when the recession hit and how people felt....especially the out of work photographer who wrote the book...with the aid of his dog Moose of course!!) Brilliant book.
