Rate this book
Many of us find ourselves reflecting on our daily lives, our patterns of behavior, and our potential. In understanding what expert Richard Bowell calls Spiritual Intelligence - not IQ, but SQ - we learn not about the what and how of our lives, but about the why. In ‘7 Steps of Spiritual Intelligence: The Practical Pursuit of Purpose, Success and Happiness’, Bowell leads us to spiritual enlightenment and growth using positive psychology, brain science, and real-life case studies. With carefully developed SQ exercises, you will learn to evaluate your circumstances, envision your position in the bigger picture, and set goals for yourself. By building your confidence, you will learn to shape life around your goals and determine for yourself your own personal why. With ‘7 Steps to Spiritual Intelligence’, you can discover the life worth living: the life of purpose, success, and happiness!

"To walk through life and see richness and potential where before we may have been world-weary,despondent,and seeing nothing new"- Richard A. Bowell.

In Conclusion, this book provides a great start to finding meaning and purpose in our lives and actions.

A timeless and deeply insightful guide to inner growth.

The 7 Steps of Spiritual Intelligence is more than just a book, it’s a mirror for anyone ready to examine the “why” behind their choices and purpose. Richard Bowell combines psychology, spirituality, and practical reflection in a way that feels both deeply human and refreshingly relevant, even years after its first publication.

What stands out most is how the book encourages a quiet kind of courage, to lead with awareness, act with integrity, and align our outer lives with inner values. It’s the kind of work that doesn’t just inform; it transforms, gently but profoundly.

A timeless read for those seeking clarity, compassion, and conscious living.

This book talks about the "why" of what we do. It is an interesting perspective about developing awareness, meaning and evaluation as you become centered in your true self. It led me into inquiry about my personal journey, including my vision and mission. Why read it? Ask why and find out for yourself!
