Outstanding read about an officer who reminiscences about his actions at Gettysburg. This Confederate Officer was in some very serious and bloody fighting during the Battle of Gettysburg while as an officer in the 9th Georgia Infantry Regiment. Gregory A. Coco did an excellent job in editing this officer's memories of the battle. It is a short read, but a fascinating one. Highly Recommended for anyone interested in the Battle of Gettysburg.

This book collects stories from Gettysburg regarding events of the civil war battle fought there. The stories were interesting but many of them made me wish for more details of the stories. They all were short, quick reads and would be a good way to introduce someone to the history if they knew none of it. I would like to have seen more about some of the stories.
