ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Annie Harrison lives in a ramshackle castle in the woods in Tortoise, Pennsylvania with her sweet husband Mac. A retired English teacher, she now keeps herself busy by whistling Gershwin tunes, watching the deer and wild turkeys in her driveway, writing scandalous novels, and trying new kickasserole recipes in her kitchen. Livin’ the dream, baby; livin’ the dream.
This book is not my normal genre, but I was dying to read it because I know the author personally. This book is not a linear accounting of the author's life and it took me a while to follow all the twists and turns. In the end, I really enjoyed the stories related by the author and learned to deal with the twists and turns. This book was an easy read and quite an enjoyable bit of piffle.
