Sky Gilbert drew on stories from his students and colleagues to create this wicked satire of what sometimes basses for actor training, sending a young, gay actor trying to get back to a sense of truth in his work to three of the worst teachers imaginable. The play is good, nasty fun, with such a strong common sense that it doesn't matter if some of the references are distinctly Canadian. A student of mine did a great job once with Finn's monologue about Gordon Pinsent.
