“The violet flame is a light that serves all spiritual heritages, that gives respect and dignity to all things. It gives us a way to connect with each other…. It's what really empowers you.” ―Dannion Brinkley, New York Times bestselling author of Saved by the Light
Twentieth-century seer Edgar Cayce recognized the healing power of the violet light. Dannion Brinkley saw and experienced the violet flame in his near-death sojourns. Healers and alchemists have used this high-frequency spiritual energy to bring about energetic balance and spiritual transformation.
Now you can learn how to apply the practical techniques in this book to create balance, harmony and positive change in body, mind and soul. Includes nine easy steps to begin using the violet flame with affirmations, mantras, and visualizations.
Elizabeth Clare Prophet (1939-2009) was an author, teacher, messenger of the ascended masters and leader of The Summit Lighthouse—an internationally recognized spiritual center for the advancement of inner awakening and soul liberation. For decades Elizabeth's books have been front runners in the movement for individual union with God. Millions of copies have been sold worldwide and published in more than 30 languages. Throughout her lifetime, Elizabeth Clare Prophet walked the path of spiritual adeptship, advancing through the universal initiations common to mystics of both East and West. She taught about this path and described her own experiences for the benefit of all who desire to make spiritual progress. She lectured across North and South America, United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, the Philippines, Ghana, Liberia and India. With Her husband, Mark L. Prophet, she led pilgrimages to the Holy Land, Egypt and India. Thousands of people from across the globe attended her four yearly conferences and hundreds of students learned spiritual teachings from her Summit University retreats. Her great desire was to share a spiritual path that would take true seekers, in the tradition of the mystical paths of the world's religions, as far as they could go and needed to go to meet their true teachers, the ascended masters, the archangels and their own Higher Self, face-to-face. Her unpublished writings, lectures and dictations from the ascended masters continue to be released by Summit University Press.
New Age Christianity. "Violet Flame" is mostly about a prayer that you can invoke to heal, bless, and enrich your life. I would've given it a higher rating but 80% of the book is testimonials about people who have supposedly had the prayer/decree work for them. Which comes off like an infomercial. Another 10% is Elizabeth Clare Prophet trying to prove that the violet flame works by bringing up scientific theories and basically saying, "Hey! This MIGHT be connected." The skeptic in me giggled at those parts.
I am so thankful that one of my friends helped me to find this book and read it ,there is a lot of good prayers and decrees in this book and nice stories about power of violet flame and ascended master saint germain , this book can help some people to heal their path in spiritual awakening journey and make themself and loved ones free from karma and pains and fears and doubts ...
Good book with interesting information. I like the decrees. Would like a book dedicated solely to decrees. I'm not sure if one already exists, but would be helpful.
I actually don't want to rate this book. I read it while researching some additionale information on the violet flame and its use. It was mentioned in Chakras, Auras, Subtle Bodies and The Convoluted Universe, Book 3 and I remembered coming across this book in a bookstore.
Well, this small volume didn't do much for me, but I'm sure it continues to help a lot of people. The message is short and sweet, the practice is very simple to follow and integrate into your day. If you feel drawn to it, give it a try. Even if you're not a religious or spiritual person, there's stuff out there that just works. And it's a great way to connect to the light and to bring some magic back into your life. A lack that many people feel today.
I've tried using the violet flame and it worked beautifully. It appears to be a great tool of protection from unwanted energies or to keep our all too human fears at bay. I just personally don't like the "decrees", but prefer to work with the techniques I have been given and my own wording.
I thoroughly enjoyed the insights and teachings offered in this Violet Flame book. Its depth and the transformative potential of the practices described within have been truly enlightening. However, I found a recurrent aspect that did not resonate with my personal beliefs—the frequent reference to ‘God’ throughout the text, particularly in the decrees. My spiritual practice aligns more closely with the term ‘Elohim,’ which I find carries a powerful energy when I substitute it in my readings and meditations. I respectfully suggest that future editions of the book might consider employing more universally inclusive terms such as ‘the Divine’ or ‘the Creator.’ This change could potentially broaden the book’s appeal by embracing a wider array of spiritual beliefs and practices. When I mentally replace ‘God’ with ‘Elohim,’ the decrees resonate more deeply and the energy feels more potent. It’s a testament to the book’s foundational strengths that such a substitution enhances my personal experience. An inclusive approach to the language used to describe the divine could make this invaluable resource accessible to an even greater audience, fostering unity within diversity.
I had a very profound experience with my first violet flame invocation last night, in which I wrote about on my Quora:https://qr.ae/pGAV9D
The reason why I gave the book a 4/5 as opposed 5, is because I feel she could have done a bit better a job some area, and the syntax is meager for me. But I realize this book is aimed for educational purpose, not literature. Otherwise, I would have 3 starred this.
The information is a decency, and the violet flame is indeed, very real. I do recommend it for learning about the violet flame, but do not expect of an eloquence or in-deth detail. It is what it is; a practical, small booklet on the violet flame, good for a beginning informative.
The only downside is you're left wanting more. Powerful and amazing prayers. This is true alchemy of the soul. You are filled with so much love and peace.
🌟 3.5 stars. The first 3rd of this book feels like an infomercial and was a slog to get through. The bad corporate motivational stock photos with violet light or flames photoshopped in didn't help much either. I pushed through though and it did get better.
The organization of the material in this book was poor. It felt backwards. An overview of core concepts and the introduction of Saint Germain should have come first. Then technical information should have come second and the testimonials and "selling points" at the end. The first few chapters felt like filler, bogged me down as a reader, and I couldn't connect to the author's voice.
I was frustrated enough that I got a wild hair and looked at the publication date - 2016. Elizabeth Clare Prophet died in 2009. She didn't actually write this book. If you read the front matter in this book it states "based on the teachings of Elizabeth Clare Prophet" and "compiled and edited by the staff of Summit University Press from the writings of Elizabeth Clare Prophet." I thought, no wonder this reads like an 8th grade textbook. No wonder I couldn't connect with the author. I didn't really feel engaged with the material until chapter 5 or so. From that point on the book actually begins to present technical information about the Violet Flame, Saint Germain, and the Science of the Spoken Word. The graphics in this section that are original to the Church Universal and Triumphant are a huge improvement over the other cheesy photos in the book.
The concepts in this section track with other things I've read/practiced like the LOA, intention setting, affirmations, mantras, affirmative prayer, and energy healing. The teachings feel New Thought adjacent and do reference scripture, Christ-consciousness, Ascended Masters and the I AM presence and teachings (which I expected). Church Universal and Triumphant has a slightly different interpretation of the chakras and the body's energetic system and some interesting concepts about the soul, connection with the higher self, and the threefold heart-center flame (power, wisdom, love). Most of the Violet Flame work is just visualization used along with mantras or "decrees."
My only other trouble with this book is that there were concepts mentioned in passing (like the seven rays, for example) that the editors/authors assume the reader is familiar with and do not explain. It felt like I missed a 101 class and introductory material and was struggling a little to keep up with gaps in my knowledge.
Overall, I felt it was worth reading even with the technical and organizational writing issues (from University Summit staff) that I mentioned. The book introduced some new concepts to me, expanded some familiar ones, and provided some practical spiritual tools and applications. I will continue delving into Elizabeth Clare Prophet's work, I just hope to hear her authentic voice, fill in the gaps in my knowledge, and answer the questions this book left me with.
When I first read this book, I didn't think much of it to be honest with you, but fast forward months later, I am starting to realise the true essence of it's power.

Read this at the request of an acquaintance in process of becoming a friend. A metaphysical work I have difficulty explaining. The terms and ideas are familiar to me (reincarnation, angels, prophets, new age), things I have considered but mostly discounted in the past during my long spiritual sojourn. I chose to begin with an open mind, and will respectfully and curiously engage with its insights and "decrees" - to experiment of mind, heart and spirit and see where this path may lead.
