Dan S. Kennedy is the provocative, truth-telling author of seven popular No B.S. books, thirteen business books total; a serial, successful, multi-millionaire entrepreneur; trusted marketing advisor, consultant and coach to hundreds of private entrepreneurial clients running businesses from $1-million to $1-billion in size; and he influences well over 1-million independent business owners annually through his newsletters, tele-coaching programs, local Chapters and Kennedy Study Groups meeting in over 100 cities, and a network of top niched consultants in nearly 150 different business and industry categories and professions.

As a speaker Dan has repeatedly appeared with four former U.S. Presidents; business celebrities like Donald Trump and Gene Simmons (KISS, Family Jewels on A&E); legendary entrepreneurs including Jim McCann (1-800-Flowers), Debbi Fields (Mrs. Fields Cookies), and Nido Qubein (Great Harvest Bread Co.); famous business speakers including Zig Ziglar, Brian Tracy, Jim Rohn, Tom Hopkins, and Tony Robbins and countless sports and Hollywood celebrities.

Dan has addressed audiences as large as 35,000....for more than ten consecutive years, he averaged speaking to more than 250,000 people per year. Corporate engagements have included American Honda, Floor Coverings International, IBM, Pitney-Bowes, Sun Securities. Today, Dan rarely accepts speaking engagements outside of Glazer-Kennedy Insider's Circle ™ events.

As a direct-response marketing consultant and copywriter, Dan is the 'hidden genius' behind full-page magazine ads you read, TV infomercials you see, online marketing and direct-mail you receive. He is routinely paid upwards from $50,000.00 to, on average, $100,000.00 to $200,000.00 plus royalties to craft direct-response ads, sales letters, direct-mail campaigns and integrated offline/online marketing systems for his private clients.... over 85% of which repeat. His advertisements created for clients have appeared in over 200 magazines from industry trade journals, airline magazines and The Wall Street Journal to USA Today and Readers Digest to Cosmopolitan.

He has created winning campaigns for health, diet and beauty products and companies, B2B and industry products including software, and investments including Canadian land sold to Asian investors — but his #1 specialty, where he does most of his work, is with clients in the information-marketing industry including book, home study course, online course and newsletter publishers; seminar, conference and event promoters; coaching organizations; and associations. Most new client relationships begin with an initial consulting day at his base fee of $16,800.00, conducted in one of his two home cities. There is usually a waiting list, and new client candidates are asked to communicate initially via a one to two page memo describing their business, needs and interests.

Well first let me begin by saying am a big fan of Dans work and especially his "NO B.S" book series. And to begin with this book too was promising with Dans real ... Been there talking from experience and working with many wealthy entrepreneurs to see first hand what wealth attraction means and how it's achieved

But boy was I heavily disappointed towards the end of this book where I believe ATLEAST 1/3 if not more of the the remainder of the whole book became content written by Dans "clients" who whether highly wealthy or not - is not what I paid to read about - especially when there chapters are teaser content for their services they offer of which I have ZERO interest in - Id rather the book finished even shorter but based on just Dan's "Wealth Magnets" chapters where the book was actually insightful and what I came for

This was very annoying and like his "The Phenomenon" book - but this felt even a bigger let down due to it being part of his "NO B.S Series"

To Our Continued Success!

We’ve all read books on wealth manifesting: wish for it and allow it to come. But does it work? No BS Wealth Attraction for Entrepreneurs says unequivocally that this process will lead to bankruptcy.

No BS Wealth Attraction for Entrepreneurs says that attracting wealth is more than wishing or visualizing. Action is the true key. If you want to attract wealth find a niche that has financial promise and work on making it profitable. Keep doing so, even after the money starts rolling in.

Sounds simple enough but when it comes to money most of us tend to be our own worst enemy. We want more money to do the things that we’ve always wanted to do yet we feel guilty for wanting more than our fair share. We also don’t want to seem pushy or arrogant. No wonder we end up sabotaging ourselves.

You’ll either love or hate No BS Wealth Attraction for Entrepreneurs. The author doesn’t mince words so you’ll see your past behaviour and understand how you’ve been standing in your own way. I have to admit that some of the sections really triggered me. I found myself saying aloud that I won’t compromise this or that for money but then that’s probably why I’m not independently wealthy.

Dan Kennedy is no question an old school marketer. Commonly known as the god father of the long form sales letter, Dan's advice is as relevant to today for online marketing as ever before. This book opened my eyes to not being afraid to share my experience as a marketing strategy. I shy away from self promotion or drawing attention to my "accomplishments" and this book make me feel obligated to share freely that which I am an expert at for the benefit of those seeking answers to question that I know the answers to. Dan Kennedy is a great writer with a great sense of humor and a has very authentic humility about him.

Good book. Dan discusses the traits and habits of the entrepreneurs that seem to achieve success and wealth.

He also adds chapters from successful entrepreneurs in various business ventures in which you can join also if you wish.

Good, fast read with valuable information.

Things I hate about the book:
Geez could it look any scammier? I was literally embarrassed to carry this around and even to add it to my list here on Goodreads. I mean, did his direct marketing experience tell him this type of title/cover/look would be best? Regardless, I hate it.

Things I don't hate about the book:
Most, if not all, of the advice seems very sound and useful. Some of my notes:
If you understand how you're earning money (from a certain method or tactic), then teach it to others for a fee.
Don't follow your passion. Find out what drives market demand, and find something you can do within that market that you're passionate about.
You don't have to be motivated to get your work done. Just do it.
His Behavioral Congruency point is the "Leading vs. Lagging indicators" point made by Cal Newport in Deep Work.

Other things I hate about the book (Albeit not as much as its overall look):
- He's always upselling his website and his products. It gets to be a bit much. Get me interested, then I'll be the one trying to look you up.
- A lot of Donald Trump name dropping.

The final section of testimonials (so many of them from people in real estate!) is sort of a waste. One of them mentioned "the power of system", which was not mentioned in this book but that the author apparently covers in his sessions. It sounds like this is more or less the same as the one mentioned in E-myth revisited and Built to Sell, in which case it would have been nice to include that.
