For a non-fiction book this was OK. I did find it a bit dry in places, but I will read future offerings from this author.

I won Walking Among the Dead through the Goodreads Giveaways program. I was excited that the book arrived so quickly and that it was signed by the author. I'm a big true crime fan so this book fascinated me. It read like an episode of Dragnet, no fuss no muss, just the facts. As others have mentioned the book reads as though you are actually a part of the investigation. It's as if you are on the scene with Detective Lang. Looking forward to reading Ken Lang's other two books!

Not an awful story. From a grammar perspective it isn't well constructed and a great deal of the detail is hokey and over done

Very enlightening!

It was neat to read this book. Well written, fast paced, and definitely exciting! I have family in those particular areas that Mr. Lang has worked and could relate to each town. That was fun! I would heartily recommend this author to others, you will enjoy his writings immensely.

Best thing I can say about this book is that I couldn't put it down. What it lacks in editing, it makes up for with pace and intrigue. Very much enjoyed it!

If you can forget some of the typos and grammatical errors, you will find interesting true crime stories. Some of the errors are truly unfortunate; in one instance he tells someone that “unfortunately serial killings don’t happen that often”. He must have meant fortunately. The stories are more interesting and detailed as Det. Lang gains more experience.

To be honest, I couldn't get past the first story, This book could be entertaining if the author had a better editor.
